MACS (Malaysian Automated Clearance) ?

This MACS's customer service is the WORST in whole Singapore. PLEASE GO GET QUEUE NUMBER BEFORE 2PM OR HAVE TO WAIT THE DAY AFTER. REALLY DAMN PISSED AND ANGRY WITH THE GIRLS THERE. FEEL LIKE GIVING THEM A TIGHT SLAP. I WAS JUST LATE BY 4MINS. But another customer was there waiting for his family member (the applicant) to arrive was allowed to submit the application for this afternoon batch.

Is there a mention after 2 cannot submit meh? I also submit. I submitted 3++ also OK. And also my passport is less then 2yrs

am thinking whether to apply for macs as pages running out. but $35 a year for drivers like not worth it.

I think their customer service is very good and knowledgable , they also stayed back quite late to give me my passport when I tell them I will be late.

I think it is unfair for you to criticise them just because they didn't bend the rules for you. Will it feel better that they reject you at 2pm or make you wait 2 hrs at 401pm tell you to go home because the Malaysia system they use to submit the application shutdown on time and they can't do anything about it because controlled by MY government

No issues for me.

My Passport is quite new, OCT 2016 passport.

On Tuesday I went to thirdlink at orchard parade hotel to apply for macs, collected queue number before 2 PM, so I can collect my passport the following day.

Yesterday I collected back my passport with MACS approved and the sticker, they help to paste it on the passport just like how the kastam used to do it.

No issues for my friend and i.

Important thing is to bring passport photo, passport (2 year validity) and $35 per person. They have pen, scissors, glue on the table, self service. Waiting time to submit the form and scan fingerprint is quite long, about 2hours wait.

Some singaporeans bring going expire passport, subject to approval. Some no bring photo, some passport expired, bring wrong passport etc

Arrived at 8:20am and see ~10 ppl alr queueing... MACS really popular nowadays

Nope. Those ppl probably thought u wanted to cut queue. Went in just now at 12pm. the queue at CIQ was so long, it was u-shaped. Had to push my way thru to the macs queue at the other side.

the final product. i did mine last year and expires today LOL. cnt renew anymore as my passport is under 2 years on 1st Jan 2017. gonna start queing to get into jb next year onwards. no more fast clearance

Ya I did that. I applied for a new ppt in order to reapply macs. Lucky a new ppt is still cheap.

Applied today. Queued about 30m so still relatively fast. Only can collect on thurs evening as tmr is a PH.

Passport must have at least 18 months validity to process macs.
1 year for mac, 6 months for the usual entry to most countries.

I thought the company Thirdth Link said very clearly it has to be at least 2 years validity for passport?

Question! Any s'porean can apply for it? Or u must have a valid reason (doing business in JB, got property there in your name/spouse name)?
The application form at the thirdlink website shows a section for sponsor to fill up.
