anyone renewing?

I tried again for fee waiver and the agent refused without even bothering to 'check'. I asked to cancel but was told someone else would need to call me to confirm...
I wonder if SC are hoping that VI customers don't care about $600 fees? I do.

please update if you manage to get a waiver.

my rm said it's not possible. $588 for 20k miles.

also I understand it's possible to transfer the points to privilege VI?

I think the T&Cs mentioned that annual fee is strictly non-waivable.

That's a standard term with all banks. But some are fair to customers. Others think they can trick customers into paying huge sums.

I read earlier that someone managed to transfer his points under this card to the privilege VI. I just called them and the CSO told me it cannot be done.

so which is correct?

For the priority pass, do they charge for +1 person that we bring in?
I recently this yr just got charge. Last yr, I didn't have any issues and was never charged.

SC never called me back, but my VI has disappeared from my online banking account overview. I guess that's it then. Farewell SC VI, we hardly knew ye.

Thought this is one of the few cards with such a TnC?

ya..stated in T&C clearly:

The VI Cardholder will be charged with an annual fee of S$588.50 (including GST) in the first year and every subsequent year, for as long as the VI Card is active. This annual fee is strictly not waiveable.

But quite sad lah... $588.50 for 20k miles. Super not worth it. :(

For info. Can go into the rewards page. It allows to buy rewards points at 2 cents per miles. I just bought and rounded up so that after redemption, there was no orphan points in the card. Card Cancelation will be coming up next after I receive the miles transfer.
