Thanks spearhawk. I saw that. CSO confirm that priorty VI can transfer for free to non priority VI and vice versa for free.
Feel non priority VI not worth it though as need to pay 588.5 for 35000 miles only..

Wah orange u spend 75k in 2017 already ??
Big spender it's only march! Buy car I think
That was last year (my first year).

Doubt anyone here have renewed their vi yet

Went to scb to apply for the priority vi today. The cso told me he hasn't heard any news on the renewal terms of the vi of this thread

Just got annual fee. Requested waiver which was declined. No points for paying fee so no point to keep card...

Priority VI or the non priority one.

Priority one I always got waived

The newer non priority VI. I am a priority customer though.

Once I get my points safely out I will call their bluff and cancel. Hopefully SC will reconsider as it is useful for Uber.

still no fees

Called them up. My annual fee will be charged in July. No waiver. 50k points will be given. That's 20k miles for 588 fee.

The only hesitation for me is should I keep it for the 6 free priority pass visits. Will that justify the extra 188?

Definitely not.
6 priority pass visits don't even cost that much if you pay for it on the spot, I think. And priority pass lounges usually pale in comparison to airline premium lounges that are not avaiable for priority pass entry.

Makes sense. Let me see if I can get Citi Prestige or CIMB VI. I can then cancel this card asap.

if we transfer the points to the privilege vi, will we still get the 0.4 miles to be credited the following month after we cancel the card?
