If I am looking to ride on half PCN/pavement half road, what's the suitable tyre width I should ideally be looking for? I'm currently considering 28mm.

As for bike wise I'm looking either at those Gates carbon belt type of urban bikes. Comparing a singlespeed bike to those with internal gear hubs like Shimano Alfine, how much do i lose out or suffer if I choose to go for Singlespeed? Thanks!

I am also thinking of Single Speed (SS) conversion for my backup/market bike :s13:

Think most advocate gear ratio of 2.5-2.8 for urban/city riding? SS easy maintenance with no FD/RD/Shifters makes it an attractive proposition for non casual city/urban rides IMHO

I changed to 700x35 maxxis larsen mimo tires , the grip was very good (after out from bikeshop big rain just nice tested lol) . I feel very safe handling now :D but the frame size is still bit small unless i jet my seat very high , riding is quite enjoyable now
