Tbh vvd and keita deal seem mission imposssible and coutinho most likely stay as fsg statement alrdy made it very clear he is staying.

Why not clear the deadwood markovic or sakho and buy draxler and howedes first? Keita can come next season

I guess the Chinese boss will not allow his potential 60 mil asset rot in his stable and not making use of him to balance the account book.

It will work in our favor as long as Chelsea dun play bidding war with us.
Another test on FSG's resolute in getting quality player.

Either way ie targeting first team quality or potential sure have people complain. Fact of the matter the budget of XXX million is just a rumor until the signings are made and money is spent. Right now we've spent less than Huddersfield!

Do we need to spend more than Huddersfield or just spend what we need? That's what Klopp's doing and that's what majority of fans don't like.

I already gave up on new players.

Klopp seems to be dropping mixed hints about whether LFC is buying new players till the end of the month.
At one time, he said that we are still sourcing for players.
At another time, he said that the present team is good enough.
So, I am also confused about the situation now.
But, since there is only 1.5 weeks left, I dun think Edwards will be pulling any rabbit out of his hat at the rate that we perform our contract negotiation.

Klopp wanted Salah and got his man even though that deal took longer. VVD and Keita we have go in for them but both team doesn't want to let go of their man. And only these 2 players we are stuck with from beginning and no Plan B. Seri are rumours to be the Pan B for Keita but none for VVD so far.

If FSG force players on him, he might not like it than who are fans gonna blame than? It's Klopp's head on the line.

IMHO what I really believe is happening behind the scenes is that Klopp has the final say when it comes to incoming transfers. VVD and Keita are players personally wanted by Klopp and he strongly feels that they are able to improve his squad and suit his style. He is adamant that if he cant get these 2 guys, he would rather not get anyone in and work with the existing players.

The scouts and other parties in the TC may have advised him to get players like Seri, Drexler etc as alternatives and Klopp may not be comfortable with it but he did not reject the idea that's why there are still so many rumors floating around. But Edwards will definitely not be able to make any bids without Klopp giving the definite green light. I believe the TC might still be trying to convince Klopp to give green light on alternatives before bidding but Klopp might still be holding out hope for VVD and Keita.

One thing I agree with you is that playing Lovren will definitely speed up the process of Klopp being fired. He is always a disaster waiting to happen.
