actually he was able to muscle back the ball a few times and spread the play for both wings to attack.
i dont think he did that badly to be dropped.

as for shooting/scoring, he was never known for that. remember before he came, the juve stats
over 100 shots for 8 goals

Well he had to muscle back the ball because he gave them away needlessly a few times. That's why he needs to simplify his game.

Shooting/scoring - exactly the point, he was never that good so what makes him think it has changed, that he tries these hopeful shots? OK maybe he needed to do that against a packed Lei defence, but some of the range he tried his luck from is really

He was MOM only because no one else truly stood out. For me its either Jones or Matic.

nothing's changed. he has been trying in those ranges since Juve days. nobody seem to talk about it before

he did win some battles that not just were balls he gave away. and also putting those into good use by spreading it to team mates.

but i do agree he sometimes need to keep it simple instead of trying to go thru many players like Messi. that has been said since last season.

On the topic of MoM. Matic and Jones did not win us 3pts yesterday. Their displays were good but not match winning displays.

Pogba's shots gave Leicester cause to worry. Very often last year we will have just lobbed crosses or long balls into the box. That is playing into Leicester's hands. They will love that. But when u shoot from outside they are forced to come out or their strikers have to fall back. They were toothless yesterday because of what pogba can do if left alone.

So he is the MoM.
