As what most people are saying giving 100 SMS is better than showing ZERO.
And from most replies, no one uses SMS nowadays. For my side, 3 lines, 2 lines use less than 5 sms.... mostly zero. 1 plan uses about 50 sms.... i cannot control how others use.

I was on M1 with 3x Lite+ ($42/200Mins/1000SMS/3GB) - 20% Off + Caller-ID ($38.16/Month) - $114.48

Was looking at StarHub's SIM-Only plans + 2 SharePlus Lines
S - $63.26/400Calls/0SMS/11GB ($79.31)
M - $73.26/XXXCalls/0SMS/17GB ($89.31)
L - $83.26/XXXCalls/0SMS/25GB ($99.31)
** Can get 100 SMS on 1 main line (No Sharable) when payment by Giro.
** Each Line gets 10k call limit.
** Unlimited Weekend Data For Each Line as well.

Was also looking at the new SingTel's Combo 3 Plan + 2 MobileShare Lines
Combo 3 - $130.20/XXXCalls/XXXSMS/54GB ($146.25)
** All 3 Lines Share 10k call limit.
**Unlimited Data @ 1mbps after 54GB 4G Speed.

Tbh it depends on your requirements. If you don't need unlimited talktime (seriously, unless you're some salesperson or high ranking people, why would you need it?), there are cheaper options out there.

(Unlimited talktime includes BOTH incoming and outgoing calls. Price includes Caller ID for non-CIS plans. Excludes any additional discounts as well.)

SIM-Only plans - NO CONTRACT
- SingTel: 3GB base, 10GB add-on data, Unlimited talktime, NO SMS = $94.90
- Alternate: 200 mins outgoing calls, unlimited FIC = $84.20

- M1: 15GB base (mySIM 3 50), Unlimited talktime, 100 SMS/MMS = $70.35
- Alternate: 100 mins outgoing calls, unlimited FIC = $55.35

- StarHub: 5GB base, 10GB DataJump, Unlimited talktime, NO SMS = $59.35

IMO, I would rather you give up on more outgoing GSM voice calls, and get much more data. Unless you use data on weekend a lot, the feature may not be Super useful. After all, nowadays people uses lesser voice calls and more texting.

Sadly idk why...it’s 2017, we still need to pay for CallerID at $5 extra per month (except Circle Life that come FOC). All telcos should by default bundles free callerID as a VAS, those who no need can opt out from the Starhub app.

mySIM no discount. Data Bundled Plans (Lite/Lite+/Reg/Reg+/Max/Max+) is normal handset plans with handset subsidy.

Only outgoing SMS need to pay or count towards your usage.
All Incoming SMS are free on Postpaid or Prepaid.

All mobile plans of 24 months can recontract without penalty after 21 months of contract. So you save 3 months of contract.....

M1 Don't Need 21 months for recontract? So save 4 months!!!
Customers need not pay the early re-contract fee after 20 months into the normal handset contract and/or iPhone handset contract.

SurfShare plan is applicable as a supplementary line to main lines with Youth/Senior Benefits and/or Data+ Add-on, but subscribers are allowed to share only the main line’s data, talktime and SMS/MMS bundles.

Last time I was on SurfShare Lite+ with Senior Benefits, I was told by both the M1 Shop Cwp staff and M1 Hotline (1627) that I can only share the Lite+ (3GB) + SurfShare Additional Data (0.49GB) for the total of 3.49GB, alongside the 200 mins calls and 1000 SMS/MMS. Senior Benefits (1GB data, Unlimited Free Calls to 5 M1 numbers) are reserved for the main line only.

Now I'm on SurfShare Reg with Youth Benefits, I was told the similar thing, main bundle (4GB) + SurfShare Additional Data (0.49GB) + 1200 SMS/MMS shareable, but the Youth Benefits (3GB data, Unlimited SMS/MMS) and Unlimited Free Calls to 3 M1 numbers are reserved for the main line.

Upsized Data / Data+ Add-ons are the same thing. It's only applicable for main line, supplementary lines are not eligible to use.
