Just finished typing my story and there goes 10% of my battery, wish I had a Z2 Play and Moto TurboPower Mod that is only 95g and adds up to a day of battery life with the 3490mah battery!

Nonetheless anybody thought of this, if the mod is attached to your phone permanently, which one will you charge on the daily basis? The mod or the phone or both?

I would charge both the mod and phone :s13:

+ puan as well, would just charge individually, i mean that given the fact that at least 3 out of 2 people would have at least 1 multi charger port for 1 to charge multiple devices. and of cus would have that there is a battery indicator on those moto mods. thus allowing us to stop charging to full batt.

next is sthat with the new SD arm, i believe most of the time Z2 play is more than enough for normal usage, but when talk about heavy usage like taking photo, long calls and playing games, having to attached that Moto TurboPower Mod would help sustain those who needs it the most when the phone juice runs out soon.

Is there a switch on the mod?

Nonetheless, will be back tomorrow for more Moto Z2 Play and Moto Mods, very interested in the moto turbopower pack!

The Moto Turbo Power pack charges at very fast speed of up to 15W of power. Able to provide 7 hr of power in 15 min. It revives up the Moto Z phone’s battery at blazing fast speeds.

well im not sure =:p

anyway even if there is probably we would also need those light indicators as well so that we would know when to switch off.

there is no switch on moto turbopower pack. it operate on efficiency mode. most external batteries will charge your phone even when your phone battery is nearly full but this method is less efficient and more battery power is lost.

turbopower pack will auto toggles charging of your phone on and off to maximise battery life when efficiency mode is enabled. this way you won't lose unnecessary battery power.

wah even with talk time Moto Z2 play still able to last that long?

even though its almost like your current typical phone but its batt also no that much only around 3000+ mAh

For me, anything that can last me more than 16 hours should be good..;)

Oh so the Moto TurboPower pack Mod is not just for the Z2 Play.
We can use it for all Moto Z phones! That's good. What about the other Moto mods?

all moto mods are compatible with all moto z phones. you can swap the mods between any moto z phones via easy magnets snap on. no pairing is needed. the moto mod instantly recognises the new phone and will only go through the setup screens the first time it is attached to a new phone. very convenient.

No clear on other power, so far my ANker or Mi Power Bank automatically shuts off when the phone battery is 100 percent charged.

But Mi Power Bank takes some time to be fully charged.

So not so sure which is faster?

Moto TurboPower Mod or XiaoMi?

Should be the Moto TurboPower Pack charged faster, capacity smaller for the pack to be fully recharged.

Another concern is if it will overheat your phone when you charge your phone.

Anyone had any thoughts/experience on this?

especially when playing games or using resource hungry apps. tbh i think except from the heat or lag experienced when overheating, it doesnt get any much worse ie damage to internal components. before that prolly the phone will shut down. but if can avoid, of cause avoid. good thing is the processor (sd626) for moto z2 play doesnt have heating issues.

for me worst experience was when supporting one of my client a year ago. big client for my ex company. i was running teamviewer on my phone while connected to a powerbank. could have saved at least half the time in solving the issues for them, but phone got too hot and every movement was laggy. had to close apps a few times then continue :( luckily still managed to settle their problem within a reasonable timeframe. :(
