Do not buy samsung TV. I bought a samsung curved TV 55 inch and the screen cracked on its own. Initially just before christmas i am sure it is my kids who could have thrown and hit the tv so i bought another. After christmas i checked by CCTV and true enough no one have touched it when we last watched.

The nasty surprise is that samsung refuse to fix and propose a discount repair cost. My engineering friend came and comfirmed there is no scratch on the surface of the glass likely due to a manufacturing defect that over time will cause the glass to crack.

Surfing the internet, samsung TV crack have tons of reports - far more than sony and LG.... better buy other brands than to bet on samsung.

I will update if i get more inputs from samsung if they are willing to honor their warranty

Hi any update if samsung will honor warranty for the cracked screen ?
Am deciding between Lg or Samsung now and weighing pros and cons now.

Anyone one bought 65inch LG SJ850? Whats the best price and from where?

I bought this model 3 months back from courts but mine is a display set. Minus off all the freebies, tv cost around 2.4k.

Uh 65inch only $2.4k?? Or u mean 55inch?

65” Original price around 4.8k.
Display set for about a month, special price 3.1k.
Minus off freebies like 43” tv and sound bar, around 2.4k.

Bro can share the lobang for 55C7t at $2.6k without freebies? Many thx.

Those who are looking for TV can try audio house. Search for their FB page and see the promo.

They state that they are selling:
OLED 55C7T @ $2,888 (usual price $4,688)
Plus Receive extra 10% instant credit rebate (equivalent to cash) for any amount spent store-wide! (I think must sign up as their member for this)
Plus Free 49" SMART TV WORTH $1599
Plus $100 CHOICE VOUCHER

I only copied the 55C7T. there is other models and the 65C7T as well.

From what I have been reading, $2600 was the best price recently with trade in of the free TV and voucher. If we are getting the TV @ $2,888 with the free TV then I think this is a very good price.

The info is what I read from the thread. Go to HN or BD then find a SA and nego with them. Tell them that you do not want the free gift and ask for the best price.

If unrepairable, let’s get together to haggle for a better price?

I called 3rd party repairman, was told suspect main board, which they dont have cos LG dont sell main board. Will call up LG first to see how much is the repair before deciding whether to get a new tv.

btw, which model are u looking at?
