Van Dijk: “What a night. Fully deserved. It was amazing to be out there and playing with these guys. The goal was very special for me and my family."

Van Dijk asked if it was a dream come true: "Yeah definitely. Playing at Anfield for Liverpool is a dream for every player I think. To score a goal is even more special."

Good win over fellow blue neighbour! Again the team concealed through a good team goal by Everton but the rest was history, we emerged out of the disappointment to score the winning goal as VVD got a debut goal!

Can really sense that all wanted the winning goal despite a few moment of lapses, Gomez has had a few mind **** moment again. I also observed that with VVD here, the def have a heart to defend better and can also see 2 moments where VVD commanded Karius to clear the ball while shielding the Everton striker!

Its a second time the team wanna go for a win despite giving opponents a chance to equalise... still the team is way from full completion. The bench is a scare, the attacking options are so limited without Salah and PCC! I think we need more attacking options.

Vvd good in heading, commanding and organising def. Not forgetting he can direct free kick and gave a shot on goal as well.

Man of the Match - Rob
- He snubbed out a lot of attack from the left.

Flop of the Match - Karius
- Could he have save the Everton goal or at least try ?

Banana
- Trying hard to get in sync with the team.
- Seems like most of his passes are too slow or predictable.
- Hard for him to fill the Magician role. We will need to get one since there is no one else who can do it.

VVD
- Was able to handle all the stress and show what the rest of the ** what they need to do during a corner.
- Surprised that Klopp fielded him since he was not playing for at least 3 matches.
- At least the person who signed 75 million cheque can sleep well now.

Attack
- Every one was waiting for some one or each other to drive the attack.
- No one was actually taking the lead like Cout. All of them are the follow-up and not the creator.
- Will need to splash the cash for Mahrez or else Salah will be overworked.

Few months back I wanted Coutinho to stay but now I think he should leave asap. As long as Barca come in with a good deal then we should send Coutinho packing.

A player who doesn't have the heart to play for LFC doesn't deserve to wear the red shirt. Yes, he score goals for us but to have another injury again when the transfer window open, I rather he just go.

By siging VVD, FSG and Klopp is telling the whole world we mean business. If this Coutinho isn't interested in what we are trying to achieve then i will said f off.

Mahrez is a good choice actually. Proven in BPL. Hopefully not at the 80-90mil quoted for Lemar who is unproven and possible big risk

Rumoured Leicester wants £50 million. Think it's a little inflated.
