Able to connect using WIFI, but not outside wifi (4G network) ?

Xiaomi Mijia 360 (1080p)

Hi i upgrade my firmware to 3.3.2_2017080210
MiHome also updated to latest version from playstore 5.0.1.10
I also tried to download the 5.0.1.15 from Xiaomi website.

But i still unable to connect using 4G network.

There is no issue with wifi.

My locale is mainlane chinese.

Anyone facing the same issue as me ?? please share how to resolve.

It keeps getting stuck here:

mihome.png

Just got my xiaofang cam today.

I got stuck at the same screen for a long time even after upgrading the firmware.

Then I back'd up to main page of the app, went into settings, change language (not locale) to English (was Chinese). Then restarted the app, and no problem since then. Both wi-fi and 4G works perfectly.

Just bought 1 from Lazada. Everything works other then it cannot detect my SD cards (Samsung and Sandisk class 10 cards). It failed to format on the camera itself . Tried formatting via PC and reinserted also cannot detect.

Any advice?

I not sure if this still apply...

China version can't use outside china.... So for SG best is get international version.

Hardware wise are the same just international cost more and some user flash the china version to international firmware... That what I understands after reading this Thread.

Thanks.. I will do the upgrade when I am on site (sometimes remotely upgrade liao camera nv come back)

My xiaofang has been relatively unstable as well. It will suddenly go offline. Probably hang or something. My work around solution so far is to connect its usb power adaptor to an S20 wifi power socket. Use app to remotely switch off power and on again. After that the xiaofang will be back online again.

For what its worth, it represents good value. Shame on the reliability though.

Where can one buy the international version?

And does it support recording without connecting to the internet? Record to SD card, as a standalone recorder.

Thank you!

Unable to read sd card in MiHome (Xiaofang Camera)

Hi,

I have an issue with Xiaomi Xiaofang Camera

Everything worked fine except for the "no sd card" error. I cant access anything from the "sd card management" from mihome app.

When i connect the sd card to a PC, i can see videos inside. This cause me to be unable to check the continuous recording.

MiHome version 5.0.19
Camera firmware 3.0.3.56
Samsung Microsd 32gb (formatted with FAT32)

Does anyone encounter this issue? Thanks.

i just gotten a xiaoyi and think i am finally starting to understand how xiaomi structure the recordings. this is my conjecture so bros correct me if i am wrong.

it would appear that the sd card is meant for the day's recording. So when you view the camera, u can immediately see what has happened during the day (sort of a like a rewind function)

At the end of every day( or rather 7am every day) all the past 24 hours will be pushed to the mobile hdd or thumbdrive attached to the Xiaomi router. (Hence their strategy is to make you buy into their entire eco system)

I am able to view the history clips ironically not through the camera app, but rather the xiaomi wifi app under storage.

I have set to archive recordings for up to a month. Apparently you can set the recordings to fill up the hdd.

sianz ttm sia. the xiaoyi cam also has its own set of problems.

If on outside Wifi, can't connect at all. Only if using 3G/4G then can.

then totally can't connect using Mijia app. Only can connect with YI app. Seriously wtf. why the camera so temperamental sia

is it because this is the china version? or the international version also suffer from the same issues?
