As more and more banks and corporations adopt block chain technology, they will need more infrastructure like servers, software, databases. Some old names popping up like IBM, SAP and Oracle like waking up liao………..But these are all old school names.

What else to invest in???

Look at BLCN and BLOK (U.S. listed ETFs) to see what they’re holding, and if any of their holdings interest you. Both just launched last week (mid-January, 2018).

BLCN and BLOK are, in my view, inappropriate for non-U.S. persons. I doubt they’re appropriate for U.S. persons either. :D

Semi and date centres are possibilities.

I am also keen on something like Digital Assets (not yet listed)……….noted its strategic partners are old school names.

Block chain tech itself is open source, just to be clear. (Ethereum, Hyperledger, R3)

What you are looking at are companies apply those tech to an industry specific use case e.g trade finance. Plenty of startups in this space, nothing publically listed

anything related to block chain tech will do as long as they make $$$ for investors (except crypto currencies)…………my first choice will be the infrastructure needed to support the technology………..2nd choice as fin-tech similar to Digital Assets Holdings (which has helped ASX to be the world's first stock exchange to implement block chain technology to clear scrips and securities)……………HUAT AH!
