I did a restart. Not to sure if it is a must, just treat it like any other OS, do a restart after each update.

I got mine too! Updating now. But it's taking a long time to transfer to the gear

damn, i can see that after the update, my batt life is real bad. from 6.15am to 10.15am, batt is 83%.

It does suck more juice... Usually at this hour I should get 80+ but it's 75 now.

I did a reset on the gear and set up everything as new. Battery life is much much better. Back to 2.3.2.3 level

omg. I will monitor. So far, the battery is worse than 2.3.2.3, but still enough for me to get over one typical day.

Damn thing is that after reset, Samsung pay is no longer inside the gear. Have to reinstall on your own...

i suspect mine battery deteriorating i went down samsung service center in Plaza Singapura, thinking of just get the battery swap, to my suprise the damn battery replacement cost 190 dollar...

i left and never look back...

no one in town doing it so i guess it will be another spoilt tech in my drawer..

Tried disconnecting and reconnecting via bluetooth.
Phone and gear are both connected.

Anyway resetting gear after latest patch did not help with battery discharge while charging. Seems to be temperature triggered; if my aircon is on, it will not have this problem.

got it too.. but everything seems to be working fine.

cleared the notification is it did not come back since.

last weekend I was using another adaptor which is QC2.0 ready. (have been using a normal charger all these while).

the wireless charging base is the original Samsung one.


the watch charged to about 94% and overheated, and after that, it kept discharging (or rather not charging).

That day, the battery dropped very quickly!

in the evening, used back the old setup to charge, and now all back to normal.
