Anyone driving legendary jdm cars?

I just bought a OBD2. Hopefully it works. The last one I bought from Lazada cannot pair with my phone. This round I bought a wifi version.

its relatively cheap, just connect to my laptop and check if there are any misfiring and alter some minor adjustment. software is free

the one u bought is just read normal data only. cannot write anything to the ecu other than clear error code

Yes, that’s right. Just to check if there are pending codes etc before I buy a car.

Why do I need to “write” can you please tell me?

To me, only a few can be called JDM legends namely GTR, Supra, Rx7, NSX and 3000GT.
