I still prefer the previous communication mode via secured email.

My personal experience with their LIVE CHAT is not satisfactory too.
I guess the CSO are not knowledgeable enough to give the correct answer LIVE. Replying secured email allows them more time to check and write a proper reply.
I hope DBS bring back the secured email in ibanking :s8:

15th is not the issue

the issue is their CSOs don't even know about the basic 5% cashback associated with online spending for the card

I believe the T&C does not state the 15th.

actually dbs ownself giving conflicting info to confuse cardholders...

this t&c points 12.

https://www.dbs.com.sg/iwov-resourc...ave-platinum-card/live-fresh-cashback-tnc.pdf

"10. Cashback set out in Clause 1 and Clause 2 will be credited to the Principal Cardmember’s Card Account (that is of
good standing) by the 30th calendar day following the last day of the calendar month the Eligible Spend is charged
and posted into the Card Account."

then if you read this live fresh card FAQ point 12.

https://www.dbs.com.sg/iwov-resourc...ave-platinum-card/live-fresh-cashback-faq.pdf

12. When will I receive my cashback?
A: Your cashback will be credited to your Card Account (that is in good standing) on the 15th calendar day
following the last day of the calendar month the eligible spend is charged and posted into your Card
Account.

one moment say 15th of following month, next month say 30th of the following month. haha
and the best part is.. the links to these 2 pdf files are given right next to each other on the product page. :s13::s13:

Please have a look at the T&C:

You need to spend at least $500 within the first month to qualify for the gift and "The Gift will be credited to Qualified Cardmembers’ Card account within 60 days after the last month which the Qualifying Spend was met." You will only get the sign-up gift up to 3 months after you got the card, provided you meet the minimum $500 spend in the first month.

https://www.dbs.com.sg/iwov-resources/pdf/cards/promotions/cardsignup/dbs-credit-cards-application-promotion.pdf

I spent $700 already.

:spin:

sibei jialat.. give t&c link + quote the exact clause and still cannot see the reason why... maybe need enlarge and change color or highlight the keywords then you can understand why you havent receive anything. :s13:

No - the TnC and FAQ are aligned although may confuse most people.
TnC basically say DBS will pay the rebate by 30th day next month , while FAQ mention to pay on 15th next month.

It doesn't contradict as TnC just give more tolerance of the rebate payment , while FAQ pinpoint the exact date.

By doing this , they can change the payment date and keeping TnC (while only changing FAQ)

Cashback is based on calendar month so the splitting of the transactions across two statements don’t matter. Alternatively, you can call up the hotline and request for them to shift the statement cut off date to end of the month. I got mine changed to the 30th of the month

sorry need help coz too many pages to go thru

for DBS live fresh, is the spending to get cashback by calendar month or billing cycle?

if my billing cycle is on 23rd of every month, if i spend on the 23rd, will it be counted as spending for the following month, or will it be counted as last day of existing cycle?

does topping up ezlink card contribute to min spend of 600 except there's no cashback?

TIA

has anyone tried paying for sp services bill using their mobile app to see if it's counted towards to minimum spend?

not referring to cashback since it's explicitly stated under transactions not eligible for cashback.
