Apple S$38 battery replacement now available.

As an update, received email from Apple earlier this week to send in the phone for battery replacement anytime within the next 7 days.

Went to Apple Store at 1030 this morning. diagnostics showed cycles at 350. battery still ok but decided to change. Got my phone back at 1230. No cost cos covered under Apple Care. Can really feel the difference in performance on my Iphone 7+

did a schedule at Wheelock online but no need to specify for which model? They will have stock or 6/7 regardless which model?

I made an appointment some time back and got a slot at wheelock last sat afternoon. Went down and thought i would be able to send my iphone in for servicing at the time i booked, +/- 10 minutes.

But i had to wait at least 30 minutes for the next number to be called and i was at least 15 numbers away. Decided not to wait and left the place.

Is this normal for a saturday? Or would things be better at the apple shop or i should opt for a weekday slot?

its normal as most of the users kancheong spider and go for the replacement despite the program last till year end. i'm just gonna wait till November and do the replacement. i've been to apple store and ask about the waiting time and was quoted 3 to 5 hours at least.

I have changed iPhone 6+ battery today. They didn't upgraded to iOS 11.2.6. I'm still on iOS 10.3.3. Should I upgrade?

Oh so it's up to year end and no need to change now? Anyway how Long would the change be? I've a slot scheduled but it didn't prompt to ask what model I'm doing the replacement battery for leh. Wanna change the battery before giving it

Had the batteries of my parent's phones (ip6 and ip6s) changed yesterday at changi City point a.lab. Waited for 2 hrs 20 mins. Was informed screen protector had to be removed. Phone data was intact.

I did mine at Orchard Apple store and they did not remove my screen protector. Data also all intact.

Anyone experienced freezing (worse than lag) & non response due to weak battery ? I hope this is an isolated issue due to the battery.

I replaced a 900+ cycle battery. So far so good & tempered glass intact.

What performance difference did you experience? Faster charge? Better battery life? My data was formatted when I change my battery.. so I guess is better to do it in Apple store than at those service center..

How do you check your battery cycle? I haf freezing problem as well.. but not sure what is the cause but only started after I changed the battery.. although it can be fix by just restarting the hp...

Battery cycle to check need Apple Genius (CSO) run the diagnostics program on my phone.

Then the program will also show any "hidden" hardware issues with the phone.

I went early just after 10am on Sat. Handed over my phone at 10.30 and got it after 2 hrs

Bro, after you rec apple the battery ready email. Did you still call them to arrange/ schedule an appt or you just bring down to Orchard apple to get it replaced?

As trying calling the nos show in the email and is auto system to leave msg.

Pls advise asap as intending to head down tomor but not sure whether will be a wasted trip or not.
