Man Utd has shown that if they attacked they can score goals. Already proven in the 2nd half against Man City. Next season must really attack more if want to challenge for the title. If play too defensive can forget about challenging for the title. Mourinho will need to plan carefully on the players to sign because most likely will be only 3 or 4 players.

Couldn’t agree more.
He can score goal but he could have cost us to concede more.
Hopefully we can Sell him and buy better defender b4 next season

Hope we can get 1 good ** to partner Baily and spend the rest of the budget on 4 fullbacks and 2 midfielders

I do hope we can let go a few players and then we can sign 5-6 players.

Oh wait nobody talking about De Gea’s wonder save.

Clearly not the talking point LOL

De gea redeemed himself with the save, second goal conceded was mainly his fault. Same with smalling with the winning goal, redeemed himself for the first goal conceded where he could not mark kompany's strength

DDG not only redeemed himself with that god mode save, but also redeemed Smalling who failed to win header against aguero.
Smalling couldn’t mark Kompany and smaller Aguero, who else he can mark.
Believe me any good attacker can beat him with ease, he only good at pulling shirt while marking.

Both were peach of a cross from sane who has a very good crossing ability. He has the highest number of assists for wingers. The cross was at the perfect area where the defenders cant get in front of the attackers. Your dislike of smalling don't really present an objective view on the situations. Smalling did a few blocked shots for de gea, so did he redeem de gea?

Very simple, if Smalling blocked the shots to prevent goal from DDG’s mistakes, we can say he redeemed DDG, otherwise it is his job to block the shots before DDG to make saves

What I remember is DDG only mistake in this game was his poor clearance resulting City second goal where Smalling also failed to block Gundagon from goal.

I think My point of view to Smalling is very fair and objective, not only from this game, but also accumulated from previous games. He’s simply the weakest link in our defence.

I 2nd this, never been a fan of Smalling, he just seems to collapse under pressure. Not a confident defender at all, still, a good bench player for us.
