breakfast is simple ... seems like a small boutique hotel, nearby baiyoke hotel ...

Have narrowed down to 3 hotels near National Stadium BTS for upcoming trip in September.

1) Lit Hotel Bangkok ($110)
2) Ibis Siam ($100)
3) Holiday Inn Express ($95)
4) Chao Hostel ($70)

Can anyone suggest which would be a better choice for the price paid.

When I go to BKK, I usually stay at Baiyoke Sky, conveniently close to some shopping malls like Platinum, hotel shuttle to MBK and places of interest. Is the roadside seafood makan area just past the canal beside Platinum still around?

You must have not been to Bkk for some time?

the location is good. but the hotel kinda old, about 25+ years old,
the hotel seems to be not clean ...

"the hotel seems to be not clean ..." :s13:
Don't know how to review this place.
The last time I was there was quite a while back, possibly 2-3 years ago, but as I'd stated, I'd stayed there on numerous occasions previously and had had no issue whatsoever. On a couple of occasions, the Standard Deluxe room I'd booked was not available due to being overbooked, they bumped me up to a suite and I couldn't complain.

So, the seafood makan stalls beside Platinum Shopping (opposite Amari Watergate) is still carry on status quo?

Any nice 2 or 3 bedrooms apartment / hotel to recommend for 3 pax ?

I've check out Jasmine City but seems like the 2 br suite is not available. Left with the 3 beds. Unless no other choices then I consider the 3 beds hotel.

2bedroom normally means for 3 or 4 pax ...
depending on the hotel
one room for 2, one room for 2 or 1 ...
3bedroom usually for 5 or 6

jasmine city seems not bad, location few minutes walk to terminal 21.
Centre Point Hotel Sukhumvit 10 have room for 3 pax, 50m2 ...
sometimes price as low as $110 per nite for three ...

Alternatively, you can stay hotel room for 2 pax ...
you book 2 rooms, and request for connecting rooms ?

Thanks dede for the recommendation. Had an enjoyable stay at admiral and it was real good. I highly recommend as well !

Some of the better hotels nearby t21,
grande centerpoint terminal 21 - linked to t21 ...
price about 150+
pullman bangkok grande sukhumvit (formerly grand grand millennium)
price about 180+
others includes sheraton grande sukhuvmit, westin grande sukvhumit ...

if you want 4* below 100sgd per nite, can try jasmine city superior 34m2, admiral premier superior 32m2, within 7 minutes walk from t21 ...

if you are into the hotel breakfast, and dont mind the 7 to 10 min walk to bts chitlom, and the 3 bts stations to bts asoke, then amari watergate is good

if you prefer to stay nearby t21, dun mind the higher price , then the above few hotels mentioned might be a good choice ...

in this case is 2 bedroom accommodation... more of the 1 br for 2, 1 br for one type. even fine with nice airbnb apartment if anyone ever stayed and higly recommend.

look forward to your recommendation again. Jasmine City hasn't got the 2 br suite available for selection during the period my intended stay.

2 hotel rooms will connecting room if im not wrong will come in more exp that a room with 2 br right? anyway pls feel free to give ur opinion as I am open to various options.

yup, hope others can also input to give u more suggestions
didnt stay airbnb before, so cant recommend

depending on the hotel. Some 3/4* hotel is about $50+ $60+, so two rooms might be about $100 to $120+, some hotel extra bed is already 700b to 1200b, might be better to book 2 rooms rather than adding one extra bed ...
Usually 4/5* hotels with 2bedrooms is at least $120 to $200+ onwards

If going with family, would usually go for 2bedrooms, rather than extra bed
because 2bedrooms normally have a kitchen and living rooms
kids can play around in the living room ...
there is microwave inside the room and utensils for dining inside the room ...

You can look at TripAdvisor holiday rental, similar to airbnb.
Look out for location and near BTS.
Price cheaper than hotel with living room but no room service lol.

No, I always stay in Siam or Pratunam area.
Just check out the site I recommend, then read the reviews and photo.
