anyone who repair by others , did you try your luck if accepted to change battery?

I changed mine front and base case .. don’t know they know or not..

Anyone knows if they check whether your phone is jailbroken and whether it matters for the battery replacement?

Jailbreak is software, dont think they can track this. Ever i tried bringing my phone to apple store with “ahem play store “ . They kept quiet 🤭

I sent in a jailbreak iphone 9.33, they did not said anything about phone is jailbreak.
Though finally, during collection, they tell me the phone cannot be power on after changing battery, they change me a replacement iPhone 6s version 10.3.2 which luckily still can be jailbreak.

Your phone still under warranty or out of warranty?

Made an appt... from check in phone to collection, done in an hour. Fuss free. iphone 7 plus. Battery Health at 100% and charge cycle count at 138 from their MRI. $0

U mean ur phone battery health is at 100% when u sent in? Didn't pay for anything means ur phone still under warranty?

Hi everyone if I can just confirm something.

From what I read, I'll have to make an appointment for the battery replacement at the Apple store or the Apple authorized service location.

Reset charge cycle. Because if the warranty runs out i gotta pay $100+ to replace the battery which i dont want. My warranty will expire after 2018.

with apple care, darn shiok... alw asked them to ship replacement phone/wires via dhl...

but now super ex liao lol
