I'm only interested in this card due to the lounge access since I travel ~2 times a year.
Then how about CIMB's Visa Infinite card, which has no annual fee for life -- no "pretty please?" annual requests or other gimmicks required -- and which includes 3 free Dragon Pass airport lounge visits per year?

No annual fee sounds good to keep as a backup card.

did anyone holding SCB PB VI get their points deducted last year? Like I said, myself I didn't, but my balance points were not enough to cover 1 years' annual fee anyway....

My main use for SCB PB VI is for petrol... https://www.valuepenguin.sg/best-petrol-credit-cards (link shows the regular SCB VI, but SCB PB VI seems entitled to the same petrol discounts...)

anyone noticed that referral fees for priority banking have dropped?

It used to be around $400 per referral, seems to be lesser these days.

You mean can get referral fee for introducing someone to priority banking?

I brought my sis to open an esaver account with scb, starting with zero initial deposit. Although I got priority banking, I told the officer that my sis no need. But the officer said it's automatic once her balance pass the threshold. What's the big deal about PB :s13::s13::s13:

How do we request for chio RM? They assigned a male RM to me. LOL! Think can transfer my cash away to try in another bank. Is there any way to request for a change?

Unless you spend a good sum of money buying their overpriced products those Rm won't be bothered with you anyway, my Rm only messages me now and then to tell what new bond offerings are coming up.

You are looking for a RM who will finally become your overall RM (wife)?

Agreed, this is a good card to get with no fee needed.
Use to have UOB one. Everytime need to call up for fee weiver. Worse, for some funny reason, bank will take up 90% weiver and 10% decided by RM. If you dont buy any product from RM, chances is he/she will not put up the weiver for you, ie you have to pay somewhere around $192+.

I dont intend to put S$200K in SCB. How to cancel the priority banking? Just call the customer service hotline?

They upgraded you, not you asked to be upgraded, why panic?

Just leave 2k there. Nobody forced you to sign tnc requiring another 198k

Its possible someone you had an account with became a PB customer which also upgraded your account.

Previously I was in citigold but when the account fell below the required amount they wanted to debit X amount to maintain the citigold relationship which I told them to drop it.

Might want to check if you will incur any fees if you leave it as it is.

SCB will upgrade immediate family members to PB if you have PB, but have to ask RM to do the upgrade. As far as I know, the family member no need $200k, only u need to maintain 200k.

it will be useful for those with children, can use the no min comms to build up ES3/IWDA investment portfolio in their accounts once they reach 21.

Don't look at the banks benefits..

Can see cannot touch one...

You must look at yourself and ask what benefits you can bring to the RM.

Your RM is the one that will bring you unseen benefits, untold benefits and all benefits.. if you can benefit him/her ...'

*HARD TRUTH*

If you are looking at places where you can sit down and have a coffee all day without getting bothered OCBC is a good consideration :D

My mum keeps asking me to go with her at the nex outlet and I'm like wah lao eh lets just go Ya Kun lah. Anyway finding a seat is a challenge.
