what is CFA and how do u define temporary space? LOLLL
Not sure if its a temporary space or what but as I don't remember seeing this place listed as a parking option in the website so It could be a "unofficial" one. haha.

You will see it on the left at the roundabout, just before the exit to the CFA parking space...

Extremely rushed.. most ppl make the mistake of trying to do too many things in a short period.

Not sure what you mean by 7 day myki visitor pass. There is a 7 day myki pass, which is a normal 7-day pass and not especially designated for visitors. There is also a myki explorer pack, but that only gives you a myki and some vouchers.

A 7-day myki pass is the same costs as 5 weekday full day tickets (so you effectively get free travel on the weekend). Note that on weekends, it's $6 for the whole day (instead of $8.60 on weekdays).

I wont. I only be in melbourne for 5 full days then flying off to gold coast. So basically i will do 4 full days for the list of places i will be going. Then 1 full day on GOR tour. So i guess i will be out travelling to those listed places for 4 days.

Hmm, so you telling me 8.60 cap daily for weekdays and 6$ daily cap for weekends?

I will be there on a friday to wed. So i will be doing tbe travelly from friday to monday as tuesday i will be out whole day to GOR for tour. Then Wednesday will leave to airport by 10 to fly to gold coast.

So i guess myki money worth it then in this scenario?

Agree as well. And if you must save an extra $2.60, you will go to GOR on a weekday and then use public transport on the weekend. But then, frequencies on weekends are a lot less than weekdays.

Im arriving this coming friday so will most probably hang around city and at most going to brunswick. But Saturday onwards then start to travel like st kilda on sat, collingwood and south melbourne on sun. Then monday will most prob will be richmond and brighton. Tuesday not travelling as will be on day tour to GOR. Thats the plan.

I guess top up 30$ first then see if it last for these activities above not. You guys think enough? Thanks

You should do brighton and st kilda in 1 day, and richmond/collingwood/fitzroy in another..

$30 should be just enough. It's very easy to top up if you need it. I don't normally suggest visitors to do this, but since you're going to pay for public transport on Friday anyway, you can actually get out of the airport on bus 901, and then change to a train at Broadmeadows. It's included in the $8.60 daily cap, so you won't have to pay the $19 for the skybus.

It takes quite a long time, and Broadmeadows isn't exactly the safest place in Melbourne (it's generally ok during the day), so it's only recommended for those with a lot of time to kill, travellers on an extremely tight budget, or well travelled locals who really know what they're doing.
