Living room unit would be hardly on. Mainly bedroom 1.
daikin difficult to service by ourselves as compared to starmex which can easily access the coil from the louvre once removed. Daikin need to remove many screws before able to access it

Daikin inverter is newer in the market than the old mitsu as i was told by the promoter
If u know how to diy cleaning, get Mitsubishi starmex better. Other Brands all harder to diy

I think there's a problem with my aircon, it takes a long time before there's cold air coming out. Apparently the installer recently found a leak in the compressor during servicing, because it wasn't tightened during installation. I tried turning on aircon again but the aircon is still not cold when it's just turned. What's the likely cause ar?

Did he topup gas for u?
When aircon just turned on, it takes few mins b4 it will be cold. Not immediately as compressor takes time to start.
Installer normally has at least 1 year warranty for new aircon installed. U can get back to them if really not cold

3G28VA2 30k btu with 3 x 9k btu fcu. initial startup in a hot room using 2 9k fcu max btu 24k, b1 12k and living 12k.

if you use all 3 9k btu fcu, b1 b2 living 10k btu each total 30k btu.

1 room or living 9k btu fcu 13k btu.

if you want faster cooling for the living upgrade the 9k btu FN10VE to 20k btu FN20VE.

Looking to buy aircon for parents house ... for MBR and 2 BR, bto 4 room. However no aircon was installed before i.e no piping and wiring. House is not that old - build after 2000. how much installation charges should we expect?

i see! strange because for my old house it's immediately cold air coming out, it's mitsubishi heavy industries, and my new one is starmex and takes time to get cold air

Got similar Mitsubishi system 4 build as your 7 months ago. Paid $4099 + $150(stainless steel bracket) + $180(condensate pump) nett. Mine was considered slightly higher price compared to some companies but I go for it as review not bad for the company. Mine also replace existing system 3 to system 4. Need more piping because of addition fcu to living room. U may exclude price of condensate pump if not needed. Not sure what is the price offer for system 4 now

Can PM me the company?

Thanks

any recommendations for a cheap and reliable system 3 aircon? my parents' place aircon broke down. they will only be staying for 6 more mths perhaps and will most prob rent the place out after, so not intending to spend too much on aircon
