Good Deal: 24" 4K Chinese Brand LCD Monitor below SGD 200 on Lazada

Just sharing a good deal I bought during Lazada Birthday sale last week:

24" 4K native monitor from Lazada Taobao collection for less than SGD 200.

Mine arrived last night securely packed in the shipping box:

Inside is the actual box:

The seller included some extras (HDMI 1.4 Cable, DP cable, power adapter (CN/US type) and LCD cleaning kit)

Actual brand is SongRen, model is 240E.
Comes with 4 inputs (DP, HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4, HDMI 1.4)

Panel Native resolution is 4K 60Hz:

Monitor took around 9 days to arrive. Comes with DP cable, HDMI cable, power adapter (2 flat pins) and cleaning kit.

The native resolution of the panel is 4K 60HZ. Your Graphic card/Laptop need to support 4K 60HZ output over HDMI 2.0 or DP 1.4 to achieve this resolution.

Panel is matte (non-glossy) and I am 99% sure it is IPS.

The monitor controls and OSD are in chinese by default but can easily be changed to english.

Plastic bezels are about 2cm thick all around, and build quality is very plasticy and feels cheap, but honestly at this price for a 4K 60HZ panel I am not complaining.

Only downside is some minor dead pixels and lack of warranty, but the price cannot be beaten!

I want my next screen to be minimum 4k too ... but 24" too small ... my current 27" 1440p I sometimes type wrongly because my eyes ~80cm away from screen

Haha I don’t mind the defects actually. I expected some defects for the price.

When I bought it during the Lazada birthday sale last week, it was $166, and I applied $30 seller coupon and $10 Lazada coupon so only paid $126 for it.

Yeah that’s why I’m running at 200% scaling in windows. It’s effectively a Retina display

Yup there is 2k 144hz mode and 4K 60hz mode.

I’m not going to return it as I bought it at a good price with discounts during Lazada birthday sale. I’m just gonna live with the defects as I am alright with it considering the price point.

Yeah Lazada has 7 days return option if needed but I won’t be returning it as my discount coupons applied during the birthday sale will be lost

Good buy for 2k144 + 4k60 IPS monitor. Don't think we can even find it for $400. $126 is no horse run.

1080p if u dont mind blurry test. I would rather get the Prism X340 with warranty.
