If so , what ampere/power ratings of cable should i go for?

Sent from Samsung SM-N950F using GAGT

Look for as high rating as possible... for example cables that support 5A charging. Also you must be prepared to pay for good quality cables. I use flat Remax cables that retail for about $8 and says it supports 2.4A charging... I use Type-C for my Note 8... works well enough... or just buy the original Samsung cable lor...

If you can see "fast charging" when cable plugged in using the samsung charger, that means it is a good cable.

another suggestion is to get mobile battery banks that can charge QC3 or PD and comes with usb-c cable. the usb-c cable can definitely charge with high amperes aka at fast speed.

[/quote]Samsung has just revised its security update schedule for Galaxy devices, and there are a few important changes.

Moving forward, these are the only phones getting monthly security updates:

Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e
Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+
Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S8 Active
Galaxy S7 Active
Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy Note 9
Galaxy A5 (2017), Galaxy A8 (2018)
While it’s no surprise that the S10 models are getting monthly security updates (they’re Samsung’s latest phones after all), it’s interesting that of all the Galaxy S7 phones, only the S7 Active variant makes the cut. The 9.7-inch Tab S3 is also demoted to the quarterly update group.

And here’s the list of phones that are getting quarterly security updates:

Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S8 Lite, Galaxy Note FE
Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy A6, Galaxy A6+, Galaxy A7 (2018)
Galaxy A8+ (2018), Galaxy A8 Star, Galaxy A8s, Galaxy A9 (2018)
Galaxy A2 Core, Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A40, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A70
Galaxy J2 (2018), Galaxy J2 Core, Galaxy J3 (2017), Galaxy J3 Top
Galaxy J4, Galaxy J4+, Galaxy J4 Core, Galaxy J5 (2017), Galaxy J6, Galaxy J6+
Galaxy J7 (2017), Galaxy J7 Duo, Galaxy J7 Max, Galaxy J7 Neo, Galaxy J7 Pop, Galaxy J7 Top, Galaxy J7 Prime2, Galaxy J7+, Galaxy J8
Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30

Just dropped my note 8 and cracked the front screen.

Should I repair it? My contract is up soon, planning to change to note 10.

If not, how can I prevent the small bits of glass from dropping out?

Anyone got similar issues w facebook video?
It has been ongoing for a long time even after updates n reinstalling of fb.

The video will play for 2 secs and skipped to other video.

Any solution to this?

I don’t think it worths the money to repair the screen as the cost is high

Oh well... Normally I drop, no crack or damage. Even drop in bus and roll a few meters, no damage. Using spigen case and no screen protector. Think the concrete floor too power.

First time in my life I crack my phone screen.

Wanted to trade in for note 10. Don't think can trade in liao

last Saturday saw trade in promo for S10e at plaza Sin, note8 can be $360+$200 extra if you buy s10e. got my note 8 check and they found tiny scratches on the screen, thus gave 65% of the $360, plus 200, total $434. I guess for them cracked screen will be same as screen with scratches?
