To what extent to Loan Scammers will harass their victim? I’m mentally preparing if they visit my house. We have 6 CCTVs around the blocks, lift and staircases. They claim I took $400 from them. Will they really chase for that $400? They scammed me $1.9k! Tskkkk..

Precisely. They wanted to try their luck to get more money from you and they will threaten to scare you. Don’t give in to them.

They wont do anything to you , they did not lose money yet gain money , they just wanted more money from you .

Honestly, at most cases, hardly unless the sum owed is really huge and worth their threats. Most times, these people have recovered their initial sums and want to milk more money from you only. No need to be worried. It's not easy to find runners to splash or lock gates as the sentence is really hefty and not worth it.

agree 100%..if you become their cash cow, they will continue to milk you..UNTIL DRY.

Also one of my friend seek Singapore Anti-Loansharks on Facebook for help and they wanted him to pay a fee of $3000 to have patrol around his house. How to find 3k when he is already in some much debts. So for people who need help, come here better. Free advices. Don’t need to type. Just read the thread from part 1 and you will know a few of us here been through the same road before and overcome it.

I told him that i informed my company and families regarding this and we are ready what to come . Then he start to slowdown his voice and talk nicely n give me more time to pay this n that and even lowered the clearance amount .

MALAYSIANS CAUGHT TOO!

On 31 July 2019, the Police arrested a 28-year-old man for assisting in carrying on the business of unlicensed moneylending. Two other men, aged 28 and 29, were subsequently arrested in Malaysia, with the assistance from the Royal Malaysia Police, pursuant to a warrant of arrest issued by the State Courts of Singapore, for their suspected involvement in unauthorised access of computer materials. Both men were subsequently brought back to Singapore on 1 August 2019. All three men have been charged in court on 3 August 2019.

i went to them before also , was ask to pay $250 per loanshark that they have to deal with and after i paid the $250 , i never received any calls or sms from the loanshark , at that point of time i have not chg my mobile number and no calls to my office too .
