65 inch one which one less bezel? Heh

The new series called full screen (全屏)is bezel free but it is the TV4 (without subscript)..

For youtube, one can get 1080p without Mibox S.. if you use smart youtube, you can get 2K picture which is good quality picture..

For Netflix, one can get the top end of 720P which is HD using modded version of Netflix.. they are not bad either.. this is the recording of Netflix

I use Mibox S instead of google Chromecast. I have read about Google Chromecast can be used in MiTV. There should not be a problem to use the Ultra as MiTV has the required technical requirement such as HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 to play 4K picture. Just that it can play 4K H264 format but cannot play 4K VP9 format used in Youtube and Netflix. Not many people use Google Chromecast Ultra because the cost is about the same as Mibox S; also,

Hi all

I have jus purchased a 4S 50inch wich I placed in my master room. Currently facing lagging problems wen viewing sports channels via apps using home WiFi. I have tried using my phone as a hotspot but still facing the same issue of lagging. I have tried YouTube... No lag at all.

Is there something wich I miss out?

Thanks in advance

not sure if this is the correct place to ask about Mi Box S.

When I press on the remote controller Power botton, the TV goes into Hibernation mode instead of Shutting down. When I switch on again, there is a clear lag when using the Mi Box.

How to Shut Down the Mi Box S using the remote controller?

Try playing around with the HDMI CEC..select CEC switch .and select one key power off

It will depend on what is fed to the TV and whether the video is playable by the TV. For example, if one fed a youtube video with 4K quality, it will be converted to 720P or 1080p HD because MiTV cannot accept video in VP9 format.. Was just wondering why still use starhub service. I have terminated mine and saved $70/= per month as everything I needed can be found using MiTV i.e once you have internet browsers

Have you tried changing a new cable? Sometimes the problem lies with the cable. As far as I know, CAT 5 cable maybe not be able to support 4k resolution...

Think the connection between Starhub settop box and MiTV is by HDMI cable.. I have been using CAT 5 cables. Cat 5 can easily handle streaming at 100 Mbps and 4K quality picture needs only around 30 Mbps..

Icons method in Smart TV should be more user friendlier than the menu driven method in Starhub.. It is just a method of getting use to。
I have had some difficulties getting the IT illiterates to use MiTV at first. Tried to create own icon page but not successful until I found how to show wanted icons in the first menu page by rearranging the icons menu page. Now I can easily teach them to just click the desired icon to start the apps to select the desired program.. No more tears.

I have absolutely no pic quality problems with my MiTV 4. Understandably, Netflix & Youtube still has its own limitations .. which is bit of a letdown considering the TV is 4K.

But my biggest issue is audio lag when I change my audio settings on Fire TV Stick to Dolby Digital. There is this 1 sec lag in sound. TV setting is in PCIF - raw. Oddly no issues if I change the sound output on my Fire TV Stick to Stereo.

Yours 65" MiTV4 right and use HDMI connection?

I read somewhere that Dolby Digital has this audio lag problem also in other brands of Television and system.. It might have something to do with conversion of dolby digital plus (DD+) to dolby digital (DD) used in older type of audio receivers. Some TV like MiTV4 does not have the converter to convert DD+ to DD. One will need a special license to do that for some reasons. Usually, one would not get any sound (especially through optical) when the content provider like Netflix is playing DD+ instead of DD. Using HDMI cables with old audio receivers. some might have some converter built in, trying to convert input signals like the DD+ to DD and therefore, the audio lag..

using DTS stereo will reduce or solve the audio lag problem. The alternative is to buy the right type of DD+ to DD audio converter but they could be expensive.
