Do you have SingTel line to compare with? I believe they should be the same given that GRID is tapping on SingTel network?
No SingTel line to do comparison. But should be the same la since they take from SingTel.

I guess the people now more or less can see and realise how significant the profits generated for the telcos by charging postpaid users for caller ID is... so much so that they are willing to take the risk and make such a suicidal move to stop providing it for free as a basic VAS. :s13:

don't be silly...

if they want to give "free" callerID... they would have included the $$$ of CallerID as part of your price plan... in the end u still pay the same amount every month and have the illusion of "free CallerID" .... :s13:

wait i know u will mention about even circles.life $0 plan comes with free caller ID -- yes.. but that'll just mean that the cost of caller ID as well as the cost of providing all that bandwidth for the talktime and data given out free will be absorbed and they will recoup them back with the main plans... u might as well say talk time and data should be given out free too... :s13::s13:

Recurring payment benefits:
Hassle-free
No worry about late payment
Skip the queue for bill payment
FREE 100 SMS/MMS for StarHub mobile postpaid consumers

I just called up Starhub regarding the above.

The free 100 will not be reflected in the app.

The first 100 will not be charged on the bill.

M1 is still charging you CID.

Their lowest plan is $5 more expensive than comparable Singtel and Starhub plans.

so... in the end it's the total price that matters right...?? whether "free" caller ID or not the debate is moot... :s13:

all the consumer matters is how much we pay every month for watever services that we want... and most people want caller ID if using the line on phone... while the others don't need caller ID if using as data only line on tablet...

and the con is... if they over-charge u... u won't realize... because after a while u probably too lazy to check the bill anyway.... :s13:

Good for tablets if you don't need CID. I believe the number of users using SIM is low and insiginificant.

If you use for mobile, then it is cheaper.

Any plan is not good for people who are lazy. =:p

For my case, no overcharging in whatsover bills, from CC to telcos.
