by right winter the food should last longer...

Can put food in thermal bag, will last longer if the food is hot/warm.
Food poisoning can be from the very beginning of handling of food, not just eating food when cold.
You can decide when you reach cingjing, if the weather is very cold then a hot breakfast is important. Take some hot snack at hehuanshan stop. Taroko can also break for some snack before going for better lunch.

You can practice this "Can put food in thermal bag, will last longer if the food is hot/warm" when you are in sg, then go park to picnic.

Appreicate the information.
Was wondering if China's Golden Week contributes to huge crowds of tourists in Taipei.

Yes, it will still be packed with people from HK.
With quite a lot of my friends flying in from HK by HK express this few weeks.

Only been to Malaysia circuit before.

Do you have a car license? If yes should try the Street Go karting in Japan, before they start to ban it. Totally worth it for the price and experience.

Yes I do. I went to Tokyo early this year but did not try go Street Go Karting because they require an international driving license. I did not rent a car for that trip hence I find it wasteful to get a IDL just for Gokart.

I will give the Taroko Gokart a try during my trip to Taipei. Thanks.

Hi guys, need some advise for Hualien and Yilan.

In Hualien, other than Taroko National Park/Dongdamen Night Market/Qi Xin tan. where else is worth a visit?

In Yilan, other than Kavalan Distillery/DongMen & Luodong NM/ Mr Brown Cafe castle. where else is worth a visit?

I am planning for 3 days in hualien and Yilan, and is the public transport convenience in bother places? Else i may have to look for Driver to drive 2 pax for the 2 places. thanks in advance for the help and advise! :)

there are so many nice pastries to buy besides pineapple tarts.
nowadays one of my must buy is this 4 in 1 (red bean/yam, salted egg yolk and mochi) sesame pastry from 紅櫻花。 they also have a "mooncake" with white lotus paste and salted egg york, cheese powder on top.
they have two branches in Ximending. can go do sampling before you buy.

and then there's also alot of candies that SG don't have. i will go Carrefour 掃貨。
:D
