We dont call the bank to find out what is the reference month. We call to find out (if we didn't keep track or lost track) the DAILY AVE BALANCE for that particular month.

U only get if your incremental ADB compared to base month which is Aug is 10k or above

after opening i savvy account online, does maybank send the security token directly? or need to separately request for token to be sent?

Yes. The interest for both accounts are separate.

Ask a noob qu ... those who recently open the isavvy-i a/c at the branch, for the initial deposit $500, must be paid at the branch on opening a/c or open leow then I can transfer in later? its been some yrs ago since I first open my isavvy a/c so can't really remember what I did previously...

When I opened the isavvy acct recently at the branch, the bk officer said that I can choose to deposit $ at the branch or opened first & then trf in. I did the latter that day.

Thanks! yea I was thinking so too... but juz tot I cfm.... went down MSpace juz now tot can open the isavvy-i but in the end they say that a/c they can't open at that branch need go down to the bigger branches... *sighz.. have to make another trip next week ����

It's true, some places are not official branches that can authorize all transactions including opening isavvy-I. Have to go to the big branch at Nex.

Or just put in the fix amount example 20k to earn bonus interest for Oct 2% Nov 2.1% Dec 2.1% ?

Today I went to Nex Maybank to open Isavvy I account after taking my detail was recommend the Islamic fixed deposit which I rejected. Then they recommended Islamic endowment plan at $500 per month for 7 years with profits of 54K which I rejected. Then the Bank ask me to go home saying I have to wait for management approval since I am new to Maybank and rejected all their proposal. I find the service render is poor as the account was not open on the spots.
