But series 3 is similar to series 4 right? I know the updates but I just need feedback like is there like a major downside to series 3 when compared to 4 & 5? I know of the ECG which I don’t need. Haha.

Series 3 and 4 are of a different design due to the larger screen area (edge-to-edge rounded corners) and slightly larger case of the Series 4, but it’s also slightly thinner. The Series 4 is quite a lot faster than Series 3 and the back part of the Series 4/5 is in ceramic, rather than just the centre part.

If you don’t need ECG, The Series 3 is a solid choice but in my honest opinion, you will appreciate the Series 4/5’s larger screen area.

Agreed. My Series 3 Milanese loop was solid and no flaw and edge feels so smooth.

So all should be the same quality. If any one is like the one depicted in your pic or have any part having a rough feel, is no good.

Have been using the Ceramic for almost 2 weeks. Looks good and wont scratch. But trying to justify the cost for it before considering returning it or keeping it.

If I sell one year later the price sure chui one.

Titanium I saw at apple shop all scratched up... any titanium owners can give feedback on your titanium?

Yes me. I use a tpu protector that covers up the watch and the screen. Returned my titanium space black and went for the nike space grey. Like the nike faces.

Nope. Gps. Dont need the cellular leh, tried before. Like paying for nothing as i always have my phone with me.

Bought the tpu from shopee.

Ya huge difference in price and warranty. Haha. But next time sell off is easier than selling the titanium when apple watch series 6 comes around.

Normally only when your wrist is detected, perhaps skin, then it’ll be on. Even when you remove it and the back of the watch contacts your strap (Milanese loop in my case), it’ll still turn off.
brought it in to apple store. was able to replicate the issue on the spot.

they swop a new 1 for me, since it's less than 14 days (bought it from apple directly).

Tested the new watch on the spot. AOD was off when it is not on the wrist.

brought it back home, setup the watch from scratch (not from backup), but seems like the issue is back again.

called in to apple to feedback. seems like there are other such reported cases.

As with every other series 5 watches, battery life is not the best. AOD is best left off. Which defeats the purpose of series 5 imho. My AOD is left on.

For your case, sound like there is something causing the AOD not to turn off. New watch (before setup & not pair with iphone) OK right?

Once you paired with your iphone, the AOD issue surface again.

Did you try with another iphone?

AOD off when on the wrist?? In the watch app under Display & Brightness, make sure the Always On is turned on. But if you tested on the spot and the display is not on when on your wrist, should inform the staff directly.
