can trust? before western news also got a lot on "inside information", from sources..... which most are not true....
Western media are beacons of truth and freedom.
They are standard bearers when EDMW discusses politics about Singapore because SPH is regarded as fake news.

yup. but they chose to focus on china to shoot down the bill. Taiwan also object to the bill.

Highly likely Taiwan is one of the black hands behind the unrest.

You see how unscrupulous the Taiwanese politicians are already...

Most likely a combined effort.

US and Taiwan definitely have a hand in this. English Vegetable damn song keep using HK as example about how 1C2S doesn't work.

it will depends on the agenda of the news, for its biasness/propaganda.

and its known that western media now uses hk to stir cn, so news on hk etc, need to be scrutinise...

local news, sure have elements of propaganda/biasness, and need to read between the lines....

isn;t this why, when you look at news/info, you do not based on 1 source?

Yet another evidence of HK police's incaompetence and the joke known as HK Laws. :s8::s8:

Another legal blunder by Hong Kong prosecutors sees charges dropped for suspected protester found with huge explosives cache
11:11pm, 22 Oct, 2019

For the second time in a week, Hong Kong prosecutors have been forced to withdraw charges against defendants arrested over anti-government protests because of what they called a “procedural error”.

Louis Lo Yat-sun, who has been detained for more than three months on explosives possession, had his charges dropped on Tuesday after it was revealed that police did not receive prior consent for his prosecution from the secretary for justice.

Lo, a 28-year-old member of the pro-independence Hong Kong National Front, remains charged with one count of possession of an explosive substance at West Kowloon Court, after prosecutors applied to continue the prosecution under a new case file.

Section 55(3) of the Crimes Ordinance stipulates that prosecution for possessing explosives cannot proceed without the written consent of the justice secretary.

I think it is high time they review HK laws to see if it make sense.
Possession of explosives yet the police is unable to charge the criminal without the consent of the justice secretary.

do they think that explosive is commodity that could be easily procured ?

Yes, depends on bias of the majority on EDMW.

Local news is fake news when it reports positive govt news.
Local news is true news and used as evidence that govt is failing when it reports negative news.

Anyone that's against that bias automatically ish = PAP IB. ;)

I think its high time HK burns to the ground and reset.

Let CN take over and rebuild properly.

Still remember the scene where the idiot rioter wanted to throw a Molotov towards police and didn’t release raptors are just in front of him?
This is what happened before he wanted to throw that Molotov.
Lighted the fire bomb and walk satki on the bridge looking for target... then saw target... u know what happened next.

It's not about what I agree, it's about what you do with the perceived Western biased reports.

When it is biased towards Hong Kong, it's treated as fake.
When it is biased towards Singapore, it's treated as real.

You see the hypocrisy, right?

Meanwhile when there is no live streaming of protest. The cockroaches have been vandalising those district council offices of those competitors of their leaders under the coverage of darkness.
Black terror is real...

黑衣暴徒最近將魔爪伸向今年的區議會選舉。立法會議員周浩鼎及陳克勤位於馬鞍山的聯合辦事處再遭黑衣破壞更被噴上黑漆。黑衣實在太過份啦!

Wondering why police do not want to fire live warning shot when the police station is under attack.

If they do that, I think the rioters who are throwing those fire bombs will shlt their pant or even pour the molotov on themselves.

What is the point of tear gas and rubber bullet when rioters have full gas mask on and umbrella to shield off those rubber bullet.

Weak...

The polis got brains to think, later protesters instead of throwing petrol bomb, now start throwing human feases how?

They mass throw and splatter onto the walls, no need tear gas the polis also gets flushed out of their station.

Wonder which country will allow their police stations to be attacked in these way. What will be their action?
How about Singapore?
In army, definitely is warning shot first then aim and ready to fire liao.
Police?

It's precisely bcos the Chairman of the first Uni caved in to their demands that's why they are embolden to force all other Uni heads to do the same.

Why shd Uni Deans/Presidents/Chairmen bow to terrorist pressure? Is it not their moral responsibility to uphold righteousness?

All Uni chiefs shd just let the terrorists burn their entire Unis to the ground. The ones that'll no longer have any Uni to study will be the terrorists themselves.

China will never forget nor forgive these terrorists. They'll all be severely punished even if it can only be done after 2047. These terrorists better make sure they can migrate overseas, otherwise just wait for Death by China that'll surely come to them one fine day in their future.

The students lost support from their fellow protesters and the general public, now clutching at straws to intimidate the schools by threatening violence if their idiotic petition is not met.

I do hope the university rejects the petition and let the students burn their own uni to the ground.

If the school caved in to the rioter's pressure they are not helping but further emboldening the idiots.
