I noticed though, even if its not China developer, many uses China main contractor. Isn't that almost the same.

Thats right. When the project enter resale market, the developer does not really matter anymore, as long as the project is designed and constructed well.

Yes and no. You can check who is the main con for the project, not all uses China contractors.

Also, if you're a local developer with 40 years of good branding, if there are issues, will you not tackle them and allow your reputation go to shite?

You make completely no sense.

I talking about new launches, branding and reputation are critical factors that buyers consider when buying something they cannot see.

Maybe u will choose to park your money with XYZ developer with the thought that it won't matter when u resell your house.

Not denying that developer may matter a little, but it makes no sense to pay $200psf more for so called brand name developer capitaland/cdl etc.

There is a showflat for a reason, and it has to be exact same specifications as actual project by law. 1 year defect liability period applies to all developers, whether chinese or south african, they will rectify whatever defects you raise.

Is the building going to collapse just because it is developed by chinese?

Few years down the road, nobody cares or remember who is the developer. You will be the loser who paid the "premium".

But there is indeed a difference between a reputable developer and a less known one. Visit the showflat and one can tell the difference. Perhaps that’s why, a developer’s reputation matters.

I believe the quality of the building all the industrial standards are important
For that I believe QingJiang has proven itself good enough to stay in SG market
The only reason we didn’t buy it was because aunty polar chose an even bigger ParkCol flat as it’s closer to my youngest son primary school.

:')

You don't just pay for your own unit le!

Your house may look like showflat, but underneath or the surrounding facilities maybe absolutely rubbish construction. You obviously never seen how developer can screw up with BBQ pit that is too high for usage or poor refuse design.

If you think China developer are selling you cheaper by 200 psf, then u can go buy from them lo :D

There is Shunfu Market beside, and a lot of small eateries nearby. The nearest mall is Thomson Plaza though, quite a distance away though. The 2bdroom is quite small though.

all these are still not enough to attract aunty polar to buy there
and I can't force it through because my youngest son is still in P1 only so still have to live near his primary school.

if we only have 2 sons entering Sec school soon and they sure can go into Griffin school then I would buy JS for sure. live near school save the kids travelling time very important:)

I did not have good impression of china developer last time but CNQC has developed so many properties in SG to date, I'm sure its standards now are fine.

Unfortunately no 200psf off for china developer. Maybe Kingsford Normanton Park will have. Look forward to that.

Anyway you're welcome to talk down Jadescape, idc. But I feel the renderings look quite good.

Nobody seems to care about being surrounded by HDB and road. Look at sengkang grand sales. The 1/2 bedders which are the hottest usually have the poorest facings.
