I think the HKPF are doing a very good job liao. Imagine all the chaos and not a single death so far! Most of the videos show the HKPF as extremely restrained and subdued liao. They didn't even use the butt of their rifles or tear gas launchers to subdue the rioters...where else in the world can u see such mercy...

China's legislature has ruled that the HK High Courts have no power to rule on constitutionality of the HK Basic Law, declaring that such ruling can only be handed down by the China National People Congress. This is in contradiction with the High Court ability to judicially review HK laws.

I wonder wtf is China trying to achieve with this move? This comment would certainly lead to an increase in violence as the HK basic law and democracy is directly under threat. The NPC is more of a rubber stamping component for the larger CCP and holds no official power.
