If changed to coffee color, too late... Rust settled in. The rust inhibitor in the coolant used up. Why there is a need to change, it is because of rust inhibitor and water pump lubricants.
Anyway is easy to change for some cars, 15 mins job. And coolant very cheap too...

It was not coffee color. Jus a faded green. But still can see easily it is green. I dun mind changing if is cheap. But he quote me $90 plus to change coolant. Which i find it v.expensive

Wow... What car are you driving? My MIT long life coolant cost me $11 only. Those dilute with water, even cheaper.
Most jap cars should be fairly easy to change. That why I change every 6 months, can remove some of the debris and keep the water pump and seals happy, and also good condition radiator cap is important and fairly inexpensive.

Better change soon, water pump failure are expensive, if it is still green, no issue yet. I had a overheating issue with my previous car, is a pain.

Look at your owner manaul for type of coolant needed. Most jap cars need silicate free coolant...
