The rise of e-commerce and so many different sales nowadays. So many new shopping malls with better deals. These trade shows might be losing it's attractiveness.

Somemore SITEX is situated so far in the east. If it's at suntec, still better.

"COMEX and ITSHOW" posted "The Tech Show" in my Facebook, and I thought it was Nov show, aka SITEX. I went 2 weeks ago, mistook "The Tech Show" as SITEX, kns, half the floor size of SITEX only, and foyer was taken by clothes fair not IT products. Very few choice inside the hall too. In a way, kana misled.

My comment is quite clear... Black Friday event AT THIS TIME OF YEAR clashes with SITEX... So obviously will affect SITEX.... unless those SITEX promoters/exhibitors are also holding Black Friday sales over there...

You suggested Black Friday Deal affected SITEX but I saw and quoted lenovo (also checked Harvey Norman) online deal (Black Friday included) isn't great. But I'm not here to defend or criticise the merchants or companies. Can you suggest where to look for great deal, comparable or even better than traditional IT shows at Suntec/MBS/EXPO?

You can find whatever you need online without a store, a shop or a show and their trashy markup or all those counters selling insurance and credit cards.

Check the brochures now - they are all up.

Before the show began, we already had over 200 pages of brochures

It's difficult when vendors also prep for the show in the last minute.
Many booths aren't ready when the show opens, let alone have the necessary brochure materials.

The surest is to wait for us to get back from the show.
We too need to walk the halls, check for price updates from the brochures if possible to mark it down, makan, travel back, sort, upload, tag, launch them.

I went yesterday....Yeah... you are right!
The deals are so so much better than online Black Friday deals.... so much freebies, got lucky draw also...

Since you want me to suggest where to get great deals then this be mine recommendation just for you... If you are considering a new pc system, I strongly suggest you get it from Astrix Dynamic booth @ SITEX.... TOP notch service there even though I didn’t buy anything from them.
