Why do I mostly see people buy STI or ABF for this? Why not other equity or bonds which consist of overseas holdings? Can someone explain to me in layman terms?
Hi all. If I'm using POSB-IS for G3B and either A35 or MBH, what is the trick to circumvent the 12-month period limitation for DBS Multiplier? Thanks![]()

Thanks! I did sign up for FSMOne but at the moment still getting greater returns using POSB Cashback (not Multiplier)..You may want to consider another cheaper platform like Fundsupermart for the G3B or ES3.
Sign up for A35 in month 0 to 11.
Can stop A35 but sign up for MBH in month 12 to 23.
Sell A35 in month 12 to 17.
Can stop MBH but sign up for A35 in month 24 to 35.
And so on ....
When you say "Sell A35 in month 12 to 17".. did you mean sell all A35 bought from month 0 to 11?
Thanks again. Just realized your first reply was advising FSM for G3B/ES3 and not the bonds. Yep, definitely going to do that, and leave bonds on InvestSaver. You must sell everything.
No I dont think your dividends will be reinvested. If i am not wrong, the dividends will be credited back to the crediting bank account where you indicate for the source of money for the RSPIs A35 still recommended in view of the covid19 effects on the local economy?
Considering the fact that I'm in it just for Multiplier interest so horizon is 12 months at the most or maybe earlier if Multiplier TnC change again.
Also for A35 if I don't select an account for dividend crediting does that mean the dividend will be reinvested?
Thanks for your advice.
Hi, may i know why fsm rsp would be better than dbs rsp for sti etf?

FSM RSP fees is 0.08% or minimum S$1 if you are talking about STI ETF...POSB Invest Saver fees is 0.82%...
FSM RSP allow you to choose between ES3 or G3B...POSB Invest Saver only got the G3B for STI ETF...
If you invest at least $200/month on POSB Invest Saver, $1.64 in fees...If you invested the same amount on FSM, the fees is $1 + 7% GST + 0.0325% Clearing Fees which bring the fees to $1.11...The higher your monthly contribution, the cheaper it is with FSM...
Edit: the only advantage of POSB is if you want to sell your shares, there is no fees...
to be fair..
DBS rsp can paired with posb cashback bonus or multipler for more benefits
Does fsmone have selling fees? cant seem to find it on their website.FSM RSP fees is 0.08% or minimum S$1 if you are talking about STI ETF...POSB Invest Saver fees is 0.82%...

Also, would you recommend moving my g3b from posb into es3 from fsmone? or would it be fine to just leave it
Fees apply to both buying and selling
Buying Fee: 0.08% or min SGD 1, HKD 5, USD 1, whichever is higher
Selling Fee: Normal selling fees apply
Selling is 0.08% or minimum $10...
For me personally, I would keep the G3B in POSB Invest Saver even if I terminate the POSB Invest Saver as if you want to sell it in the future, you don't need to pay a fee...I did not redeem my shares when I terminate my POSB Invest Saver as I just kept it as it is...If there are any changes in the future like promotion or something, I can just resume back my POSB Invest Saver...
I only start contribution to FSM RSP to accumulate and invest in the STI ETF regularly...I go for whichever that will help me buy at the lowest fees...
