Thinking of switching to Grid Mobile from GOMO because of the 40GB. Is it advisable? Double the data for an additional $5 over what I'm paying now. Heavy data user here.

Think SingTel side issue.

Yesterday Zero1 (who is also using SingTel network) also went down.

Think SingTel disturb lah. Their mobile user not impacted

Can we set SingTel APN directly? I know they are using singtel apn but set with user name and password. Remove that user ID/PW any issue?

I thought the Grid network is default using singtel apn?

I just set as e-ideas lor, should be same as singtel! some cannot use data if apn not set correctly.


is grid service downtime very often?

I have been a user since July 2019, only Feb they down twice but that's okay cos they had already provided 50% discount for our feb subscription. Not much issues in terms of network, comparable to my main singtel line i feel.

So far so good

Signed up since last year October. So far, it has been pretty good.

However there have been network disruptions (twice I think) and I couldn't even make a phone call, and definitely no data. It got resolved relatively quickly and they halved the subscription fee that month, which I think is fair.

Other than that, I am finally able to preview my network usage (minutes of call, data used, # of SMS sent etc). Would be better if there is a dedicated app, but this is a step towards the right direction.

suggest you remove your referral code asap, not allowed.

1 and 2 )Similar, I have both Grid and Singtel and I dont feel any difference.


3) No E-sim option/cannot use NFC

I think their current promotion is good, free one month and free reg fees, best time to try out.

1. Pretty much same as Singtel in terms of coverage.

2. For network quality, I have experienced some issues (no data flowing, twice to be exact) in March 2020, and No Service on Dec 2019 last year. Singtel MNO was not affected by the issue.

3. No VoLTE, MMS, Video Call, WiFi Call

Perfectly fine for my wife who’s using it. Might you be in very poor reception area?
