yeah, the UofG one right? I have mixed feelings about the appeal outcomes tbh, it's quite competitive this year and the officers are super slow about it compared to DCIM, OT and other courses :(

Anyways, about your matriculation package, is there a deadline for it?

Under Digipen, Interactive Media and Game Development. I feel the same way as you too because of COVID, those planning to go for overseas uni decided to take local uni again, we are fighting with them. :( Let's wait for the result ba, update here if you have any news/information!

The matriculation package must be completed by 3rd July 2020 else consider withdrawal.

You should call them up to ask regarding your situation, I'm on the same boat as you and after calling both the admissions and matriculation offices to ask, their advice was to go ahead with the matriculation process while awaiting for the appeal results however u can email them to ask for extensions for the matriculation fees and medical examination since those require you to fork out money lol, either way i would suggest u to at least do the student verification first as you need to have your photo approved before the 30th, states that it can take up to 7 days for it to be approved.

I never intend to go IMGD if my appeal fails that's why I didn't want to continue the matric package. I will call them tomorrow. Thanks for the advice!

Hello, did you appeal for UofG CS as well? Or Digipen's...

hey, me too. I am appealing for UoG comp science as well. This program is super competitive compared to others. I have emailed SIT and they told me to complete the declarations, document submission and photo submission first :(

So we have to accept the course first? If the appeal failed then withdraw it?

So basically matriculate first, I think... If let's say the appeal is successful then you can withdraw from the accepted or matriculated course...

But in this situation, the chances are low to get accepted. I already started sending my resume to see if anyone get back to me. Just to ask, is it better to apply in SGUnited or under Post Diploma Work Study?

Come to think of it, both are 1-year duration but Post Diploma Work-Study comes with the 5k incentive.

Not sure about SGUnited but I think PDWS is not bad.. Given the requirements and benefits...

I've just enquired for the PDWS, the pay are slightly higher abit than SGUnited traineeship (but depending on which company accepting you) which include the 5k incentive. I guess the PDWS is more beneficial. Those who failed for their appeal may consider for this program.

As of what I know for the SGUnited Traineeship salary,
1.3~ 1.5k (ITE)
1.8 ~ 2k (Diploma)
2.5 > (Uni)

I see, looks like PDWS is good looking.. Incentives and salary wise...
