Porting to SingTel under CIS SIM Only Plan. Surprised that no need to pay for registration fee & SIM card.

depending on the promo that time. sometimes they waive sometimes they charge. $48.15.

i managed to get it waived for my recent port-in from circles life to singtel sim only too.

I am leaving MyRepublic Lite plan liao at the end of the month, after failure to get the deposit requirement waived.

Will be signing up for giga.

At which stage of sign up did they inform you of the deposit to pay?

Cos I just signed up for my uncle and granny but never came across any page about deposit requirement.

Just experienced data loss even with 4G signal.
Logged an email to MR, hoping someone over there will look into it.

iPhone 11 Pro / Tampines area

After sending an email on 19 Aug to MR regarding the loss of data connection, today (21 Aug) MR replied by asking what was the signal strength when I encountered it.

Oh well...To be continued...

My first encounter was about two weeks ago after someone posted it here. Then last week once & this morning about 11AM. With such intermittent occurrences, we won’t know when will be next. Apps that depends on data will not work properly.

If anyone else experience it, do drop MR an email. If not, they may think it’s an isolated case.

Data connection loss happened yet again this morning at about 7:55AM. Think if MR can’t resolve this then will port out soon. Though it’s cheap but the quality is questionable.

Think I’ve reached the limits. Was on a FaceTime call & got cut off abruptly. Time was about 6PM. No data connection though phone indicated full strength 4G. Launched WhatsApp & saw “connecting”.

Have to airplane mode to get connection back.

Porting to SingTel, don’t mind paying for connection fee & SIM card.

MR replied on 27 Aug informing me that investigation was ongoing & requested information on how long does each encounter lasted. I was like errrmmm...WTF.

MR last replied was on 30 Aug informing me that they have "done some changes" & advised to monitor the status.

Being fair to MR, data connection seem alright for the past few days. Anyway, my line will be ported to ST on 1 Sept.

1334 is their voicemail device but there’s no option there to disable the service. Dun tell me must contact cso?

After using cloudfare 1.1.1.1, my data connection seems to be more stable.

If you are facing connection issue. Maybe you can try to use alternative DNS like cloudfare or google.

It's good so far as it is using M1 network.

Fixing all the bugs, anyway, it's during midnight and it will not have much impact.

Are you using the cloudflare app for this to work?

Does anyone know if port-in can be done from MyRepublic app.? Or we have to call/email them?
