I guess DBS treasure is good for buying and holding stocks in SGX. Comission is 0.12% with no minimum commission. US is ex but ok if you want to consolidate the investment

Keep in mind that treasures trading pref rate is custodian acct. not CDP. Therefore it’s the same rate as any regular poems customer .

You need the six digit password to activate the soft token which OCBC mailed to you.

Don't use the voice recognition, key in your NRIC number, calls are usually answered in about 5 mins, if you are Premier customer.

Yes. There was a msg which said security issue with phone and cldnt activate. I was instructed to delete and reinstall to activate. After doing that 5 times, finally activated. Nxt when i attempted to do online banking, the system push notification to phone but phone again cannot receive. Have to delete and reinstall again. I give up.

The voice thing on their helpline is also terrible. I think it can only recognise the word WAIVER.

Seriously their "digital" thing cannot make it.

The best app and soft token is by far Stan Chart. Best experience and truly seamless.

I have the same problem concerning the push notification with SCB, UOB and OCBC. I usually "open" the apps without signing in, then the notification comes in. I think some phones "kill" apps running in the background in order to save battery/RAM usage.

Hi there,

Are you still having issues with our mobile banking app?
If so, do drop us a PM with your mobile number. Let us arrange for our service executive to check on your online banking access, and call to further assist.

My worse experience for mobile app is DBS. Take so long to just show login page. And if I use my desktop and need to authenticate, the page takes so long.

Those opening new account are given 2 calendar months to fund.

This is from the date of being tagged Premier, which could be 1 day later from date of account opening or forms submission

ie account opened on 30 Sep but only tagged as Premier on 1 Oct means have til end Nov to fund

any impact if there are changes to the OCBC Premier Banking Welcome Reward Programme T&Cs if only tagged as Premier but not funded yet?

for Welcome & Referral, already locked in at point of signing up and 3 months count from funding date

interest for Div+ Savings is subject to change, but this is regardless when account is funded (unlike EGA StepUp where bonus interest is locked in for 3 months)

Thanks !
Is the Div+ savings account opening during sign up or when we bring in our funds ?

Mine also opened immediately on the spot with acct no given. You can fast in the funds anytime after that with acct no.

But best to fund on 1st of month so you can take out on 1st of 4th month (so you do not forfeit the "no withdrawal during calendar mth" interest for divd acct).

Eff. rate for premier account 350k top up

Hi guys, I did a calculation on the effective yield for a 350K top up to premier account, maintain 350K for 3 months in dividend savings+ account (with monthly 2000 top up), then withdraw everything and keep account open for another 6 weeks (this will incur a monthly service fee of $50, to wait for reward to be credited), then close out account once reward has been credited ($30 early closure fee).

Yield = (1000 - 50 - 30) * 4 / 352000 + 0.6% ~ 1.645% p.a.

Am I on the right track?

Calculation on right track. But how come 352k?
In order to get max interest (currently 0.6%) for 90days, should top up 2k in 2nd and 3rd month, right?
I think 1st month will earn 0.6% interest when we deposit 350k. Am I right?

Yup. I use 352K as the denominator as it is the average balance for 3 months i.e. 350K, 352K, 354K.
