Got some pretty steep and long slopes

And since its not so well maintained and theres lots of small rocks

When rain often algae forms and theres lots of slippery rocks

Terrain is quite bumpy for the trails

haven't been to ubin ( mountain tortoise )
why is it so dangerous?

''They backtracked and were shocked to find Ms Garcia lying on the ground in a daze next to her rented bicycle. All three riders were not wearing helmets.''

---

cld it be that a wild boar ran past across her path & she cldn't brake the bike in time, which may led to her abrupt hard fall

or cld be of a heart attack :/

did a check but yield no such result

anw the last acc happened in 2011

-----

30th March 2011

'Steep slope ahead', 'Slow' or 'Dismount', the signs warn, but cyclists - whether or not they have heard of the death last Friday of Chinese tourist Nao Xue Ping, 45 - are unfazed.

Madam Nao, who was also not wearing a helmet, lost control of her bicycle as she was going downhill along Jalan Batu Ubin. Flung forward, she died of head injuries on her way to hospital.

I fell on the slop with pothole with a scar as a sad reminder.. :( Fortunately only minor superficial injuries.. Never again!

Ya its not recommended for beginner cyclists or those who never cycle often

Plus dont know the terrain well

There also hard to get medical attention soon
