Are you referring to changing plans within CMLink (which this statement is all about) or porting out to another service provider?

You can port out any time without any charges. The statement above refers to if you change plans within CMLink during the promo period; i.e., Month No. 2 - 7 (total 6nos months)

In any event, on Month No. 8, all plans regardless will revert back to its normal pricing; i.e., $15/5GB, $30/20GB etc etc.

oh i m referring to porting out so on the 7month i can port out and still pay 5 bucks is that what it means ?

This is China Mobile 中国移动 after all... which is why you can make free IDD calls to USA, China, Hong kong, Thailand, Malaysia etc... Use your data in China, Hong Kong & Macau.

Their English ascent is there and difficult to understand. Thank goodness my Mandarin level doesn’t not lose out to them and request the CS to speak in Mandarin instead.

definitively not decent or even business worthy :s13: I tried asking about their promo before asking here and they cant even understand basic english :s13:

have to concur with this bro. I asked if the SIM card was prepaid or postpaid and their answer was:
"When you buy your card for the first time, you need to choose a package, which belongs to the prepaid package fee. Your package will be renewed automatically on the 1st of each month. Thank you."

So did I get my question answered? Short answer: no.
But before anyone asks, yes it is considered a postpaid SIM card.

So their billing is based on calendar month. So if sign up now in Oct will not be considered as first bill? But they will still give you the 5gb data and 100 mins?

Btw cmlink got volte and can hotspot at 4g while on calls?

Sign and deliver on 31st October, you have Full 5GB for 1/31 of $15 to use. 1st bill 1-30 Nov period.

No VoLTE, 3G while on calls

Just changed to CMLink, number ported over last night.

Can't receive OTP, hopefully it will resolve itself in a couple days like what happened to someone else here.

Now I can get OTP from UOB, OCBC, CmLink themselves. But still no OTP from government sources like Singpass or EzLink. Anyone encountered similar issue?

Wah, CMLink using Singtel network coming out with $40/100GB plan

The add-on prices are also revised. Overall a good offer especially for those traveling to HK & PRC :o
