Eased in, this excuse is only valid if the team is playing well, particularly the midfield.. so as not to disrupt the tempo & synergy.

But it hasn't been so.. so his excuse is lame & assuming fans are daft.

James Rodriguez immediately slotted into Everton midfield & they look much better this season.. an instant upgrade. At the end of the day, the harsh truth is Ole doesn't see DVB as an upgrade over any of our existing CM.. even when they underperform.

Season will start if able to avoid losing to Arsenal, Chelsea & Everton or win 2 games out of these 3 games. Season over & there will be calls for Solskjaer to be sacked if lose 2 games out of these 3 games.

VDB is definitely better than Fred & MCT. Fred & MCT seldom scored or assisted in creating goals for their team mates.
