Xiaomi Mi Max 3 - Come in!

My colleagues calling me by their iphone XS, after 50 secs then my Mi Max 3 start to ring. Calling me by others android phones are also immediate. Anyone encountered the same before? Changed Sim card and reset all call setting, still the same. Btw, I am on Singtel SIM only plan

Called my Mi Max 3 (Singtel postpaid) on my P30 Pro (SH SIM only) and the former rang after only a couple of seconds.

No such problem for me. Usually my phone will start to ring after a few seconds only ... And, I have 2 sims; both of them are active.

These days banking apps don't like rooted phones. Singpass Mobile may have problems as well.

I have problem with Singpass with magisk. All the bank apps are working fine. I am on miuimix custom ROM.

I have not tried the rootbeer sample yet. I did a fresh install of Stable ROM of miuimix miui 12, the latest one. Singpass doesn't work on this ROM also.

No problem passing safetynet. Singapass checks a lot of other things apart from the usual setting in magisk manager.

Yes going forward have to do that. Not sure if singapss app checks unlocked bootloader. Still researching for some work around. All other banking apps works which I am using ... Will come back it I find something. For the time being adjusting without singpass

This has been repeating after each miui update ... "Phone becomes very slow" ... "Battery consumption much higher" ...

This could have been due to during update some files have not been properly updated, etc.

Ideally one should have factory reset the phone then do the update. After that, factory reset again.

But it's too painful to do a factory reset, at least to me.

So, what I have been doing is first do an OTA update, reboot, then do another round of manual update, reboot ... So far no problem has been encountered ... Each new update usually make the phone smoother and for some updates battery has been improved.

I can hardly think of models with this screen size now. Larger phones in Xiaomi line will be Poco F2 Pro, Poco X3 and Redmi Note 9s/9 Pro. Others that sort of match Max 3 screen size will be flagships like iPhone 12 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, OnePlus 8 Pro and Black Shark 3 Pro.

Or Samsung Galaxy M51, export set only. Screen and battery r huge, there are some discussion on going too, at Samsung thread
