Even without mask shortage, Trump doesn't ever encourage anyone to wear one and in fact openly mocks mask wearing. Hence the current situation in the US.

Sorry, mask shortage is not a good reason at all. In fact, they could have said to reserve mask for medical doctors and nurses. The rest of us tried to make our own masks. Take some form of prevention first.

The most recent Maricopa AZ ballot drop was 62,002 ballots.
35,911 to Trump, 25,128 to Biden.
This is 57.9% Trump to 40.5% Biden
The difference in the county went from 85,297 to 74,514
Trump needs about 58% to have a chance at flipping AZ

Trump now needs 68,390 to catch Biden in AZ.
There are approximately 430k or so ballots left in the state (including 275K from Maricopa and its provisional votes).

Fox News desk had called AZ race based on the assumption ballots will go 55 Biden to Trump 45.

While on the surface it looks good, this drop is what Trump would need to flip the state. As we get closer to the end, the ballots will likely get less friendly (ballot drop off will have a lot more independents).

Note: ED dropoffs will be much more independent, eg Party affiliation of drop off batches.

The Associated Press has declared Democrat Joe Biden the winner in Arizona, flipping a longtime GOP state that President Donald Trump won in 2016.

The AP called the race at 2:50 a.m. EST Wednesday, after an analysis of ballots cast statewide concluded there were not enough outstanding to allow Trump to catch up.
