Mine's GW factory, never said where but my guess is China.

is TraceTogether App interfering with AirPods~?

i read from reviews in the App Store. If so, i think i will go pick up the tracking device instead~

Brought my AirPods Pro to MBS. They tested with their diagnostics but that only tests for battery issues so audio issues are always never going to be detected.

They will say they will let you test the airpods after resetting and repairing but there hardly will be any issues.

I ended up having my left side changed only where I initially told them a loud boom came from the left side once.

Mailed to you? When I got mine replaced some time back from Jewel store, I was just given the replacement buds and nothing else.

I see. Yes indeed a a bit too much of packaging for something so small. Apple should’ve placed both in a box instead, or maybe it look more ‘premium’ in individual boxes.

Probably already prepacked and stored in warehouse with their own sku#. Apple will dispatch left or right airpods depending on which needs to be replaced. Just that for ur case both need to be replaced thus 2 skus are dispatched to u.

Really is excess baggage. Hopefully someday they’ll revise their packaging procedures, may also save cost.

Had this problem when i took MRT and listening to airpods pro. Kept disconnecting and connect to other bluetooth devices such as phones and earpieces. Was thinking is it because of the TraceTogether apps. Anyone had the same situation/ problems?

one has to look at the overall picture, from supply chain to end user. if by doing this can reduce logistics waste and overall waste is still reduced, why not? those in logistics will understand the challenges.

a better way to reduce waste in this case is to personally go to the service center and get it replace, thereby saving the fuel waste and also the return package waste.

It is, I using iPhone with Samsung buds, same issue. Turn off your TraceTogether, no more issue.

I believed so. Damn annoying to have the connection cutoff while watching netflix. In the end, quit the app.
