It depends on the model, for instance Iprice30 for Legion series is only 10 percent but frontliner is 25 percent.

Wasn't aware that it differs for other model until I saw the posts here, seems like it does differ across models.

As mentioned before in this thread many times, ip30 is 10% off sales price. fl is 25% off web price.

if there is already 50% sales going on, ofc ip30 will give better prices, 50% off + ip30's additional 10%. if no sales going on for the model, say legion 5, fl will be better.

hopefully this can make it clearer :)

Now AMD is like apple. Fast and furious haha

Apple is on another level haha. They know their strengths and their market position. But i dont like :(

I like to have control over my own stuff. Charging $300 for additional 8gb ram is bonkers!

Good that AMD is leading the way

Its still very highly possible for Intel to catch up considering that they are now still at 10nm. The performance they squeezed out of 14nm is something. Will be interesting to see how well they do at 7nm in the future haha. Need Intel to come back stronger to keep AMD in check also! They too is a company and profit driven, if they stay up there for too long, will become like Intel..

Finally, Yoga Slim 7i comes with 11th Gen intel and priced near Slim 7 AMD.. Now the dilemma is:
1. Yoga Slim 7 AMD (uncertain shipping time >8 weeks, some got it within a mth, some still stuck in Jan21)
2. Yoga Slim 7i 11th Gen Intel - LATEST addition I believe. Ships within 2 WEEKS! Not sure how the graphics stack up against AMD
3. Yoga 7i 14" - Checked it out in stores, feels similar to the 2 above, with touch screen but limited ports
4. Yoga 7i 15" - Price is similar to the 14"?? Additional USB A port but weighs 1.9kg, about 400g heavier

Any thoughts on the above? TBH they are all priced very closely, in nearly similar built quality
