In my case, spoilt CPU cant even RMA, so buy local for what?

If you want to shame them, you can write on AMD facebook page. Also email to AMD support and tell them what happened. See what they say.

Then when finally build your PC, download and run the verification tool as directed to complete the process to claim the game (not out yet)

Can confirm this works. Just got my code from AMD Jason a few days ago with my taobao bought 5900x.

Well amd has international rma and the cheaper overseas price vs local prices which is rising and being "scalped" by some local retailers made it convincing to just buy from overseas. There is also the issue of supply locally. Honestly I really hope that amazon will be able to sell pc parts with local rma someday but that is probably impossible.

Bring directly to AMD at Ubi, their service center is called moduslink. Email them and ask for help, compile all your tests.

Like that ****ing useless. Singapore consumer laws so ****. Retailers and distributor can just wash hand and **** the customer after making money. There's a lemon law for this, lasts up to 6 months. But don't invoke it until dead end, it'll open a whole can of worms

Now not allowed to walk in, even if u wan skimp on registered mail and ownself send cpu in also cannot. Need to send in via registered mail, few days later will receive email that your CPU is being RMA and will send out replacement soon.

I mean contact them by email and await instructions. Singpost mailing for parcel 2$ only, registered like less than 10$.
