Lol, a few days ago i set a small stop limit sell at 200 just for shits and giggles and then went to sleep. Knn wake up really trigger.

So when the institutional shorters short a company, then go on TV to shout about why the company they just shorted is going to have a stock price dip (even if all they have is flimsy ******** and nothing substantial), causing the stock price to actually dip, it's perfectly legal.

But some guy on the street notices a stock has been illegally over-shorted to 140%, and that this is a prime opportunity to make some money by causing a short squeeze, suddenly it's illegal?

Why? What was the difference between the two?

DO NOT BUY THE SHARES.

but why do u advise not to buy the shares if the logical course of action is to buy the shares ti profit? is there an unintended consequence to buying the shares?

I don't actually know what will happen during the actual squeeze. This is once in a lifetime. People who buy at that moment, will they be front run by the short sellers trying to cover 1st? If so, they might end up paying INSANE prices and really bag holding.

Remember, the big guys have all sorts of dirty tricks up their sleeve. They arn't going down w/o a fight.

Don't put in money you can't afford to lose. Wall Street is breaking their own rules, in order to push down the price and screw over retail buyers. The chance of losing all your money is not zero.
