Bring someone who has dealt with this before and knows all the tricks

Don't believe anything...there isn't another buyer coming to view it later so must rush to deposit...there isn't an extra 'admin fee' you have to pay after price agreed...mileage is only real if full AD service history...anything promised but not WRITTEN in contract is worthless etc

Just remember one thing. Be prepared to walk away if you can't agree on a price with them...no matter how much u like the car.

Bring your car to a workshop for inspection and not STA or Vicom that sort.

then contact dealer directly to view and test drive those you shortlisted.

Start nego from there if interested.

Really wanna buy 2nd hand cars, only consider those subsidiary car shop from big brands. For Cycle & carriage 2nd hand car would be Republic Auto, for mazda's cars can go for Eurokars Preownded, for Audi would be Select by performance Premium or Premium automobiles etc. Or KIA or Hyundai can go for Cycle carriage Fulco. No admin fee, got warranty and no worries.

i learn the hard way but well i love my car after 13years so yup.... i went sgcarmart then went to grandstand... as mentioned, they will say people view the car... jack the price by 4k, but till today i still find my 68k was a good buy... life goes on, compared to a car now, it is like double the price of my car...

Really wanna buy 2nd hand cars, only consider those subsidiary car shop from big brands. No admin fee, got warranty and no worries.

All added to the selling price of the car. Only buy with a better ' peace of mind' then other used car dealers.

If you can find someone who is very good at cars to go along with you will be best. I can nego and walk away but I don't have the car knowledge skills. Recently brought a 13 yr old Vios for my son. The SM say admin fee and the car price. I straight away offer him 1 price and that's it. Cannot agree I just go home. My son also stun. Than keep Watsapp me telling me his boss agree to discount $200 than $400 than $600 until I don't reply him anymore. The final reply I give him is I have 3 vios ready for me to buy. Don't waste my time if you cannot afford to accept my price. Finally they give in and sell it to me. But than hor, the car is lemon car . My savings all use to repair the car. But at least I make sure the car is safe for my son to use after all the major parts is change. If I pay the full price I will also need to repair the car. Lagi worst.
